We have nothing but the highest praise for Robert Wilson, who recently did a complete remodel of the interior of our house. Rob’s team installed new doors and windows, redid the existing cabinetry in our kitchen, and installed new appliances. They also remodeled four bathrooms, built a custom kitchen island, and installed all new floors. Rob has a fantastic group of finish carpenters who did a beautiful job of installing new custom trim, window casings and baseboards throughout our house.

Rob is incredibly knowledgeable about construction and had innovative and creative solutions for any problem that arose. He was on site at least once a week – many times more often -- to check on progress and be sure we were happy with how things were proceeding. All his suggestions were attuned to our budget, and he tried to find the most cost-effective way to get things done.

Not only were Rob and his team skilled, but Rob has a great set of subcontractors with whom he works: electricians, plumbers, metal specialists, flooring installers, tilers and stone fabricators. Each of them was courteous and pleasant to work with. They all made useful suggestions and made sure that their end product was want we wanted. Most importantly they, like Rob and his team, took real pride in their work.

In addition to serving as lead carpenter, Rob’s on-site foreman coordinated deliveries of materials, scheduled subcontractors’ work, and took care to be sure the workspace was clean and swept at the end of every day. He was great at communicating with us any time a question arose about details of the work.

Rob has also been a member of the local community for many years and seems to know everyone. Hardly a question came up where Rob couldn’t refer us to someone to help out.

Finally, Rob was incredibly positive and a pleasure to work with. We give Rob our highest and wholehearted recommendation.
