Peter Barnum(PTB Build Design, Aptos) did a great job at first, but has completely abandoned the last 10% of our home remodel and stopped retuning our calls, texts and e-mails. No communication at all for weeks. We’re left to finish what we can ourselves and hire out to other contractors the things we don’t know how to do, like completing the flooring and finish carpentry inside, fixing a leaky gutter, and final painting. We haven’t received a final accounting of the work vs contracted payments despite multiple requests from us and broken promises from Peter, but he doesn’t seem to care. So I would not recommend hiring Peter Barnum. He will stop returning your calls the minute a more profitable job comes his way.
