I hired Pirmoz Structural Engineering to assess newly installed LVL beams in my basement. Akbar Pirmoz, not only responded right away, but he made himself available on a Saturday (the very next day) to come out despite the snow we had the day before. Akbar, hands down, was an absolute life saver! I was skeptical of work performed by another contractor (although seemingly solid) because I didn't think he performed the necessary analysis especially given the type of beam involved. I'm certainly not a structural engineer but I have a civil engineering background so there were just certain things I expected from the other contractor. Well Akbar far exceeded our expectations! He was very thorough and methodical in his approach from beginning to end. He explained the criteria that needed to be met for this type of beam, took measurements, pictures, reviewed our original blueprints and removed drywall to perform additional evaluations. He sent us a detailed report shortly thereafter which included a couple of options for additional reinforcement needed to meet code and also recommended a contractor to perform the work. THANK GOD I followed my gut instincts in gerting another opinion!!

We immediately hired the other contractor and once he completed the work Akbar made himself available later that evening to do a videoconference to ensure the contractor installed the two new steel beams correctly. He'd also called a couple if tines just to check in on progress!! This is what I consider top notch service!! I am BEYOND satisfied and would highly recommend!!! I would give 10 stars if I could. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Thank you Akbar for your services - you will undoubtedly be our go to guy in the future for other real estate ventures!!

We had a great experience with Akbar. Akbar was patient and took his time to study our entire house, and then gave us a thorough report on almost all walls within our house. He was very polite and very thorough with his work. After he sent his report, he also took time to answer all our additional questions we had about the house. Highly recommend working with Akbar for all your structural needs!

Such a delight to work with. Beyond taking the time to prepare detailed drawings, once our contractor had opened the walls and verified a few things were different in the structure, he was responsive and very helpful providing options. I will definitely be working with Mr. Pirmoz again.
