There are many trails in this area. This review is for Perl charles memorial trail 1A. Its 5.39 miles long trail. Its not a loop so we ended up 1.5 miles from parking lot where we started. There are few steep climbs but very small stretches of it. Mostly the ascent is flat I would say. The trail is rocky and one might skid or twist an ankle if not careful. Saguaro and teddy cholla cactus can be seen in abundance. We spotted a coyote too.

Love this park entrance at Dreamy Draw. There is an extensive network of trails that crosses different neighborhoods and goes for miles.

Great hiking area. Local and easy to get to for quick hikes. Views are good as any of the other foothills around the area. Several trails going all around the area, lower trails that go all the way around the area and then some mid level trails and the ones going to the top of the peaks and all across. The top is a little jagged going across so need to be cautious. My mini mountain goat dog likes and approves it!

One of my most favorite hiking spots because it’s kind of a hidden gem. I’ve hiked up to the top many times now and have only ran into maybe a handful of people. Parking was easy for us to find. It’s very peaceful once you’re at the top. You also get a 360° view of the city. It’s beautiful and I highly recommend this trail, if you can find it 😉

A pleasant hike. A red tail hawk landed in a tree only 30 paces from me!
