Philippe is the most professional, competent, and friendly person I have ever worked with - and that is saying a lot, as a working professional myself. Purchasing a home is a huge decision involving many steps. Philippe took the time to explain all these steps thoroughly, making the process clear and less painful. Communication was excellent – he answered emails, texts, and responded to phone calls immediately. He was extremely patient as we toured several homes before finding the right one. As we toured houses, we were able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each home, and possible things that will need to be repaired with the help of Philippe’s extensive knowledge of homes. During that process, he found other homes that met my specific criteria, that I would have not otherwise found. When we decided on the right house, Philippe immediately led the contract negotiations and found us the optimal deal for the purchase. Philippe is not just a fantastic realtor, but also one of the best people you'll ever meet.
He genuinely cares about people and wants the best outcomes for his clients. There was never any feeling of pressure to rush into a decision. Both times we worked with him, Philippe patiently (and enthusiastically!) took us to see many many houses over a span of several months. With his experience as a contractor, he is an invaluable resource at showings, pointing out potential issues and commenting on the overall condition/quality of work in each house. He quickly figured out what we were looking for and would highlight features and potential issues based on our preferences. He also provided suggestions of how problems in the houses we saw could be addressed and approximately how much it would cost. The information he provided was vital to our feeling confident in the offers we were writing, the properties we walked away from, and the property we ultimately bought.
During the actual offer and closing processes, Philippe was in constant communication to ensure we knew what was going on and were comfortable with everything. He was also working tirelessly behind the scenes to square everything away so there wouldn't be any surprise issues at closing. He has connections with other great people in the industry who all came together to facilitate a smooth and on time closing for us.
