Sitting on a bench out in front of their Genesis building in Sorrento valley that’s directly next to a cannabis store, I was awaiting an Uber and they had security come out to intimidate me and tell me I can’t sit near their building. Snobbish and Rude people.

Phase 3 Properties is a best-in-class life science lab space developer. They have branded themselves as the go-to platform for lab and drug research companies to find a place to start and grow their business. Their leadership team are people of high character and very smart. Having interfaced with their organization for over 13 years I can tell you Phase 3 is on the cutting edge, values their clients and values their employees. I did see the comment below and think that the gentleman has the wrong company Phase 3 doesn’t build or lease homes or apartments.

I had signed up for a tour of a property that was listed at $1650 on Tuesday, Match 10th. On Saturday the 14th, I received this email:

Good morning Adam,

Due to the overwhelming number of responses and level of interest in our rental home we are modifying the terms of the lease agreement. The rent will be $1,725/month and the security deposit will be $1,725. I understand that this represents a significant increase from the previously published rate of $1,650; however, there were over 70 requests for appointments.

What kind of business practice is this? Jacking up prices RIGHT before tours. Doesn't that make you question what other business practices they have? If I were a potential partner or renter, I would avoid this company!
