We wanted to choose a style of home that was congruent with the Chester County farmhouse aesthetic while also giving a nod to an Anglo-Georgian country house. We are so pleased with the way it turned out. The house is both functional for the modern lifestyle yet feels timeless.

We love so many things about the house from the way it is sited in order to benefit from the morning sun and views from every room and window. And even though I love many rooms and feature of the house, the kitchen and pantry are my favorite and most used rooms of the house. The heart of the home as they say and has a spectacular view of the sunset every evening. We have had many events and always the kitchen is the gathering place. Inevitably when someone sees our kitchen and view for the first time the reaction is most often…WOW!

Also, we had originally planned to have the breezeway connecting our garage to the home remain open and at some point down the road close it in with a series of sliding glass doors. The team at PA persuaded us to make the enclosure happen with very simple modifications to our idea so with little extra cost, it elevated the breezeway to the same level of finish as the rest of the house. We are so glad we listened!

The process began with a careful probing of what we wanted to achieve and continued with extensive interaction to create a home which far exceeded our expectations. The structure is gorgeous on the inside and the outside and functionally perfect.
