I purchased one of Nouvant homes a little over 2 years ago. This builder is TOP NOTCH... Since moving in I have had no issues at all with the quality of work that he put into the house. When i moved in, there were a few minor fixes (paint scratches etc) that I requested to be fixed. They had someone out with in 3 days to fix all that I asked... If you are thinking about one of their homes you will def get top notch service with amazing workman ship. The finishes were amazing.. Thanks again. I love my home...

We love our house, especially the front landscaping, flooring, high ceilings, tall baseboards, trim around windows, classic fireplace mantel and modern fireplace, quartz counters and beautiful ceiling fans. The reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the dishwasher is as cheap a model as you can get and there are a few drywall seams that stand out. Otherwise, we are extremely satisfied.

Stay away from this guy. Read the reviews on other sites. My daughter and son-in-law bought their first home from this outfit, and it was a miserable experience thanks to his careless subs, childish tantrums and his unhelpful realtor. Same problem as other reviewers - he won't stand behind his work. One of his subs broke a corner off my daughters driveway before they even closed escrow or moved in. We learned about two days before the close that he was refusing to fix it - said we couldn't prove one of his subs did it. (His own realtor said during the walk-through that "someone drove a truck over it.") When we tried to reason with him on two separate occasions, he said they shouldn't have bought the house if they don't like it. (Let's be clear here - the day after my kids contracted to buy the house, he raised the prices on all the other houses in his development, and from then on was extremely negative to deal with. In my opinion and the opinion of many others involved he wanted them to back out so he could raise the price and sell the house to someone else - the houses in his development were in high demand at that time due to their location in a neighborhood full of much more expensive homes.) He was a week late completing the house, but out of the blue immediately served my kids with a "Notice to Perform" even though they had been anxiously waiting to move in, so he could cancel them out of the contract if any of their paperwork was delayed and, yes, sell the house to someone else for a lot more money. In the meantime his landscape contractor had dug two major gouges in another part of the driveway while installing sod, and he said "that's not a warranty covered issue" and refused to do anything about it. He has still refused to fix either problem. The house itself is okay so far, and he did nothing "illegal" that we know of, but you do not want to deal with this guy or his realtor. Our realtor/broker said he had never dealt with anyone like this before, and he's been in the business for about 25 years. With two days to go my kids were too far in at the close with plans, deposits and giving up their apartment to back out, so they went ahead and closed even though it was obvious they were unwanted and completely disrespected as buyers and customers. In hindsight, the location wasn't worth the misery. Stay away.

Revised: Just so you know, the positive review posted recently for this company was posted by the contractor's own realtor that I spoke of in my review. When your associate has to post the only positive review you get, you know what that review is worth....

Dishonest. We were assured by Mark Gunlogson multiple times when we bought our home we wouldn't loose our view. Now hes building a house directly behind us looking into our back yard and blocking our entire view. Thanks for decreasing my property value.If you lie to sell a home what else are you lying about?
