We absolutely love Nilson homes! Not only do I, as a realtor, love bringing my buyers to them but my own family lives in a Nilson Homes home! We love it! The quality, out the gate features, professionalism, customer service and feel of each home and transaction makes me keep coming back. I wish everyone could enjoy owning a Nilson Home! Just got our first home through Nilson Homes. Hands down the best experience ever. They WILL take good care of you. Just moved in this week and have noticed an issue, 2 days after moving in they were on a resolution so fast and are in process of fixing it. No questions asked. We worked with Dustin and wouldn't recommend anyone else! He knows his stuff and is willing to answer even the dumbest question. First home from them more to come will not go with anyone else!!!

I built a home with Nilson 3 years ago, and it was the best decision ever!
I worked with Heidi Iverson, which truly is the biggest reason I’d recommend Nilson homes.
Heidi treated me like a family member and always did what was best for me instead of pressuring me to make a sale. She listened to my concerns, showed me many different models and homes. Gave me all the time I needed to make decisions, talked to me about deals and promotions so I could get the best price. I had never met Heidi before this experience, I was referred by a friend. But Heidi became a good friend of mine through the process because she is so kind and thoughtful! We are still in our home and absolutely love it! Also on the owners integrity- my house was being built during 2001- when supplies went up and so many builders that were under contract raised their prices on their clients (even though they were in contact for a price before the build started). Nilson homes send an email that they would NOT increase anyone’s price who was in contract, and they didn’t, which probably cost them a ton!

Update: We had significant water and drainage issues from the start of moving into our Nilson home. After multiple discussions with Nilson, they returned to fix our grade and to install surface drains that significantly alleviated the issues we were seeing. Tyson, their excavator, is wonderful to work with. It took work but Nilson was responsive through the entire process and eventually found a solution that, so far, through one rainstorm held up well. We are still having concrete problems and buyers should be aware that their concrete work in much of our development is substandard. Four months in and my driveway is crumbling. Independent concrete contractors have been at my home and verified it was either a poor mixture to begin with or it was allowed to get too wet after it was poured (winter pour) and the aggregate is now pushing up, forcing it to spall. I was told since Nilson can’t verify how it was cared for (I drove on it, kept the ice off, and used no salt), it’s my responsibility. Concrete cracks and settles for sure but this concrete was doomed from the start. My recommendation: study the concrete in your development before you purchase.
