Extremely unprofessional and lacking in even the most basic knowledge of MD rental law. As a landlord I had to correct and educate them on THEIR business multiple times.
I finally fired this company after they directly undermined the attempted sale of my rental property. They did this by failing to do their explicit job of upkeeping, cleaning, and restoring the property to working order during and between tenants. Little did I know, I was trying to sell a property that looked like a hovel in a war zone, no wonder I had to sell it 30% under market.
It wasn't until my realtor drove 4 hours to see the property himself(I was on the other side of the country) and he took photos, and I was utterly appalled. The house looked so bad, I was shocked literally any potential buyers came by to view the property.
In all the years I rented with them they never got my rental check to me on time, often being many weeks late. They have the nerve to charge 1/3 more than the other management companies in the area. And the owner demonstrates his comprehensive lack of understanding of the business in every interaction.
This is a perfect example of why the lack of competition destroys free markets, because if real management companies were allowed to remote manage this area. These local companies would go out of business overnight.
In conclusion, these are among the least professional, most underhanded and least trustworthy people I have ever done business with.
