Going to the MVA (DMV) is never fun. But the team at Kemp Mill are polite, professional, and did their best to solve a complex sale / title / plate issue (successfully). Book an appointment, be nice, and you'll be out in no time.

I have gone her twice and never had a bad experience. Everyone frome the people who accepted my documents to the security guard as well as the person at the information window was pleasant and very helpful. It never seems crowded, and they are fast and efficient. My only negative comment was they made a mistake on my license, and I had to return it, but it was fixed quickly, and the mistake corrected at no additional al cost.

I visited this location 2 weeks ago checking was really fast the lady that checked me in was very friendly. I sat down for about 3 minutes then my ticket was called to station #11 I was greeted by a mature lady very friendly and polite. She told me that she are in training She asked me for my documents as I was going to hand them over to her the lady that was sitting next to her raised her voice in a very disrespectful manner telling her to verify the documents the elder lady started to become extremely nervous and teary eyes. I felt extremely uncomfortable so I asked for my documents back as the lady that was being trained handed me the documents she kept apologizing to me. I told her not too worry about it and I wished her luck. No one should be treated like The branch manager need to do better. .

First of all great experience all together. Got there a little early for my appointment but got called up literally as i sat down. Staff was helpful and everything was moving smoothly on my visit. They do have a kiosk inside that that is available to use. Plus there are bathrooms if needed on your visit to your local mva

Extremely rude behavior from multiple people there. First went to one counter, asked me to fax something. After 10 minutes, went to another counter after fax was sent and though they received it, the lady in the counter said they did not and did not even allow me to call the person who has sent as she said they have to leave by 4:30 and it was only 4.
When I asked the lady in my counter to consult a supervisor regarding a document, a lady from another counter overhead our conversation and told this lady ‘why do you do what the customer is asking you to do’ wow… This is enough to understand their arrogance and attitude!!
Go to Walnut hill, had a much better experience !

Extremely bad experience here. If I can I would rate a zero star. While the person at the counter was ok, and the manager helpful, the lady in guichet #2 was horrible. I am legal foreign, I am fluent in English and here since 6 years working and speaking English all the time, but because i am not understanding all particular law in USA and i have a french accent, I asked my wife to come with me in case of communication or law misunderstanding. When we went to the guichet, the lady start to nod her head and make discontent and breath noices as soon as she saw us, then she finally asked my wife to leave saying "that s one person, get out", and making hand gest. Then she start to talk to me without making sentence only one word noise, hitting the counter with her hand to ask document. No even a please, nothing but that would have been OK if she was not being unpleasant. After i gave her the document, without looking at the document she starts to say i did not have the right paperworks. Pretending I cannot read and she told me "go print". She refuse my lease contract without even reading it. Fortunately the manager come to confirm that my paperwork was indeed valid, but the communication with this lady was impossible, she clearly did not want to proceed my paperworks. So I left and I will go to another MVA branch.

I do not recommend seeking service from this individual. She is extremely rude, disrespectful, and disengaging. If you are in a customer service position and do not want to do your job, it is better to allow someone else to handle it. While everyone has bad days, I believe the MVA should implement training more frequently. It would be beneficial to teach staff methods to de-escalate situations and to actively listen to customers rather than shutting them down and calling over an officer on duty.

Although I was not directly affected by this woman’s rudeness, I witnessed the situation unfold. It could have been avoided entirely. I truly feel bad for the woman and her son who were involved. As a society, we need to do better and treat people with kindness.

I sincerely hope that the woman files a complaint regarding her poor treatment.

Had the most pleasant experience here getting my new to MD license. I didn’t get her name, but she was at booth #4 and had excellent service. She was an older woman who said she was originally from South Korea. If I need to ever come back, I hope she helps me again!
