Finding the right person for an extremely challenging task was a true blessing.
Mustafa, who I found, not only helped me clear all the paperwork requirements and ensure compliance with the county for finalizing our building permit, but he was also consistently available to address questions and assist me in thinking of smart, financially affordable solutions.
I own a gas station, and its building permits were never finalized some 30 years ago. Although I had passed all inspections and received my business license, the final building permit was never issued. I discovered this oversight a couple of years ago while following up on an unrelated business issue at the county office. To resolve it, the county wanted us to prove that what was built 30 years ago matched the blueprint in our plan check. They suggested demolishing sections of both the building and the ground foundation to visually confirm the match—a solution that was unrealistic and impractical in terms of both time and money. With the rising prices of construction materials, attempting to address it this way would lead to bankruptcy. Moreover, there was a risk of irreversible physical damage to my property and a loss of business operating hours. I had to find an alternative way to comply.
Before meeting Mustafa, I had consulted with several "specialized" engineers/architects who seemed promising. However, after discussing my situation with each of them, it became evident that they lacked the experience in dealing with my local county and the expertise needed for a gas station. Hiring someone without the right knowledge posed a significant risk, and I could end up paying for billable hours without making any progress. Mustafa was different. He clearly outlined the necessary steps and provided an accurate cost estimate. He presented different scenarios based on Riverside County's potential responses. I appreciate that Mustafa did not underestimate the costs only to charge more later. All the billings were accurate, and he stayed true to his billing amount, successfully helping us clear all the paperwork requirements for our final permit. He saved us over $100,000 in unnecessary construction and building materials. Although the process took about a year to complete, Mustafa did not ignore us once his work was done. I am grateful that he remained available to answer any quick questions during the finalization of the permits. Mustafa is truly the best and I can’t speak highly enough of his expertise, professionalism, and kindness.
