After flooding in my basement, Modern Remodeling was initially selected to take measurements for my insurance company. The plan was to have another company complete the rebuild and I figured that it didn't hurt to have two estimates to review with my insurance.

Mike completed the measurements and was prompt in sending this information to the insurance company. He also maintained contact with me and the insurance company to ensure that they received his communication and to inquire about moving to the next phase. By the time the second company came to take measurements and create a sketch for the rebuild, we were on the verge with moving forward with Modern to start the rebuild.

Mike communicated constantly with me about the start date of the job and each phase through completion. Mike was here when the team arrived to start the rebuild and he checked in (physically) throughout the process, which was appreciated. It was good working with Mike in that he managed the project, the team, and my home very well.

In March 2024, extensive water damage turned my home upside down. Initially overwhelmed, I contacted my insurance and then wondered how to navigate repairs. Remembering a great experience with Modern Remodeling, I reached out.

Within hours, I was contacted by Ashley and Tom, two exceptionally professional project managers. This dynamic duo was at my doorstep within days, ready to tackle everything from start to finish. They even went to bat with the insurance company to ensure necessary replacements.

Ashley collaborated with my wife to design a stunning new look – truly HGTV-worthy! Tom then took the reins as our point of contact once construction began. He was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and always put our needs first, no matter how small the issue. Not to be totally outdone, I made some major contributions as well, such as adding "smart" devices and putting many items together which was no small task!

Despite the project finishing mostly on time, we discovered another leak. One call to Tom and a plumber and carpenters were dispatched, quickly identifying and fixing the issue that very same day.

This is my third time working with Modern Remodeling, and the professionalism and dedication of their entire team remain unmatched. My wife and I are immensely grateful – they transformed our water damage nightmare into a dream come true with our beautifully remodeled kitchen and basement. Thank you, Modern Remodeling!

We had a minor flood in our basement. After the mitigation team came out and dried everything out we had Modern Home Remodeling come out and put it all back together. We decided on some upgrades like fully dry wall ceilings and recessed lighting. Everything came out so great and it's a perfect playroom now! Whole process took under 3 weeks even with a carpet delay! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid contractor!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Modern Remodeling that I feel compelled to share. After hiring them for a major home renovation project, I was shocked to discover that they do not stand behind their framing work. When issues arose (a lifting rafter under a roof they installed), they were quick to blame the weather rather than taking responsibility for their craftsmanship.

The framing in my home began to show signs of warping and misalignment just a few months after completion. When I reached out to them to address these problems, I was met with excuses rather than solutions. They insisted that the issues were due to weather conditions, despite the fact that other structures and framing in the area of the addition have not experienced similar problems.

What’s more frustrating is their refusal to offer any warranty or remedy for the situation... Or even come out to see the issues in person. As a customer, I expected a certain level of accountability and professionalism, but unfortunately, they fell short.

During the build, the roof was also left open after they got done for the day for it be rained on. I had to install tarps myself to prevent damage to my house.

I would caution anyone considering their services to think twice, as their lack of responsibility and poor customer service have left me with a costly and frustrating situation.
