Their permit 24EXC-02749 is posted for work 9/24/24-1/6/25 between hours of 7a-5p. It’s now/10/24 at 10:15 PM and our building is vibrating from what sounds like a passenger jet outside and they have a crew with heavy vehicles and machinery paving, pouring and pounding away on OFarrell @ Jones/Leavenworth. 311 was notified. SFPD were informed shortly before 8p that the crew said they were behind and they would be another 1-2 hours (?!) Street improvements are needed but there ought to be penalties for outfits like this who don’t take in account the people that live in the area. It’s doubtful this type of heavy after hours construction would be tolerated in Bernal or Mission or Noe or Pacific Heights. Is it because this is the Tenderloin and it’s ok to be disrespectful, neglectful and completely disregard the people who live here?
