I lived there for a year. What was good: we enjoyed the pool table, it was a good space. The lady who cleaned the house was very polite and friendly. The apartment (social area) was beautiful, spacious, bright, nice flooring, spacious bathrooms. What was horrible: the carpet in the bedrooms was of poor quality. The kitchen was old, the cabinets were a HORRIBLE color, scratched, with laminate countertops, and the appliances were old and ugly. The bathrooms also had old, scratched cabinets with crooked doors. The washing machine was HORRIBLE. EVERY TIME I USED IT, I HAD TO PUT WATER IN IT BECAUSE THE WATER THE MACHINE PUT OUT WAS NEVER ENOUGH FOR THE AMOUNT OF CLOTHES!!! IT WAS ALWAYS A STRESS!!! It was just me and my husband, so there were very few clothes! I called, the maintenance man came, looked and said I should call the number on the sticker on the machine, because he didn't know why that was happening. In other words, it didn't solve ANYTHING! Another EXTREMELY ABSURD thing is that they would enter the apartment without warning, to do things like change the air filter, without EVEN WARNING. The detail is that they always left dirty marks! The fire alarm would start to sound in the middle of the night!!! Why I have no idea. But this happened so much that my husband had them removed. Not to mention the ABSURD smell of MARIJUANA!!! Not to mention the shit the dog made in the hallway of our apartment! Not to mention the many times the trash wasn't collected!!! Not to mention the many days the garage door was left open because it was BROKEN!!! After reading SO MANY REVIEWS, I definitely understand why the door was so damaged! Maybe it was on purpose, so that the cars would be stolen or vandalized! Not to mention that you MUST pay a FEE to PAY THE RENT!!!! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention the many times my husband and I take the trash in the container, and to get there, you have to go behind the building, and the amount of poop on the grass is absurd. And there are bags for dog owners to COLLECT THEIR PET'S SHIT!!!! Apparently, it's ONLY for decoration. I can imagine the bad smell it will give off in the summer!!! Anyway... WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!

I’ve lived at mission place apartments for 5 years now and it feels like home. The front desk staff is always friendly, attentive and accommodating (especially Josh & Brittney), personally I don’t think I could’ve picked a better first Apt.

I’ve been here going on three years and my family and I are extremely happy. The staff is very nice and I love the socials that they put together. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Somehow, reviews are conveniently disappearing from google so I guess I have to post it here. No part of living here was a luxury experience. Laminate countertops, cheap appliances, low quality carpet, repeated problems with trash pickup, puke in the elevator, weed in the stairwells, stolen packages, kids running screaming down the hallways, mail room wallpapered with eviction notices. Our air conditioner was broken the ENTIRE SUMMER and all they gave us was one window unit for the master bedroom to hold us over; I was 6 months pregnant unable to use the rest of my apartment because it was 80+ degrees. They take section 8 and the inspections for it affect how you're allowed to furnish your own apartment even if you're not on benefits. They'll email you about needing to enter all the apartments in the coming week but don't tell you an actual date or time, and then they expect you to keep your pets crated all day while you're at work until they get to you. When you try to call the front office it goes to a third party answering service even during their open hours. Fire alarms go off in the middle of the night with no follow-up information or even to give an all clear. Your information will be used to send marketing emails for businesses in the strip mall without your consent. They hire teenagers as lifeguards which results in restrictive pool hours. The building layout is confusing for guests and delivery drivers. All of their "improvements" have caused inconveniences, especially the new parking spot registration system. The walls are so thin you can hear adjacent residents' phones vibrate sometimes, let alone if they're using a blender or taking a shower. The smoke detectors go off every time you open the oven. The breaking point was constantly noisy tenants (stomping loud enough to wake me/my baby, rattle the dishes in my kitchen cabinets and the art on my walls, and make my pets run and hide) moving in above us and the leasing office refusing to do anything about it except issuing repeated "official noise complaints" which they admitted don't actually do anything. If you just want to relax and enjoy your time at home without being bothered, this is not the place for you. We're a military family so we've rented apartments in different cities, states, and countries for over a decade. This is easily the worst place we've lived.

This place is in no way worth the money 💰 that is paid in rent there have been several cars broken into and stolen from the garage that should only be open by the residents who have key fobs but the side door lock to the garage has been broken for years so no one’s car is safe from vandals this issue has been ongoing and what the manager says is the residents need to contact maintenance but if management is checking the property on a regular basis to ensure their tenants safety they should know they make excuses like most apartments but are quick to file paperwork if your rent is late my advice is if you have a vehicle that you don’t want stolen stay away from this property

I must say I’m completely confused by all the negative reviews. I moved in Mission Place in 2020 during the pandemic. The leasing consulant I worked with (Alberta) no longer works here but she was amazing! Since being here, I’ve had zero issues with theft, dangerous activities, late maintenance requests, rude staff, or any of the other negative experiences I am seeing in the reviews. Yes, it’s quite pricey but where isn’t? Especially in Howard county! I’m from DC and I have no problem paying more to experience no gun shots, car break ins, apt break ins, constant fighting, people posted up outside like it’s a hangout spot, etc. The convenience here is enough to make the money worth it! My dentist is right downstairs! My eye doctor is right downstairs! My PCP is 9 mins away! You can’t get any better than that! Joshua and Brittany are both awesome! For the last 3 years anytime I’ve had an issue they both have resolved it or attempted to resolve it. My only complaint is my neighbor downstairs! For the last 3 years I’ve had to make countless complains about his loud sound bar waking me in the morning or in the middle of the night! Talking about inconsiderate! But he’s literally the only neighbor I’ve had an issue with! In 3 years I’ve never had an issue with roaches, ants or any kind of rodents! That’ speaks for itself! Valet trash is awesome cuz all you have to do is put your trash can in front of your door and they pick it up 5 days a week! The pool is great and the community is great! We literally have a community cookout in one hour that I’m getting ready for! I just got my renewal and will be renewing my lease for another year! I don’t plan on moving from Mission Place until I’m ready to buy a house! Ignore the negative reviews! I even got my cousin to move over here! As long as you pay your rent, you will have no issue at Mission Place!

Apartments are cheap for the area, which is the main appeal. However, the property is sorely mismanaged and poorly constructed. Constant noise from neighbors so you can't just enjoy the apartment you're paying for. They also admit noise complaints are meaningless and taken as "he said, she said" situations. I had several packages stolen from the Amazon hub area, opened, and then left in other areas of the apartment complex by the thieves. If your car is damaged, their cameras (according to the police that often responded there) are not good quality. The recordings will likely not help identify who damaged your car or property. Children constantly screaming and playing ding-dong ditch in the hallways. Vomit and other bodily fluids or trash often left in the hallways and elevators. The pool is mostly staffed by teenaged school children, so the hours you're allowed to use the pool are highly restricted and almost useless to working people. Many residents are Section 8 housing so there are frequent inspections in accordance with that, enforcing safety rules that strictly dictate things such as where you can place what furniture in front of windows. Overly frequent emails from management, sometimes urging you to go to one off the sketchy small businesses oddly built into the apartment complex. I've been in the military for 14 years and lived all over this country and others, and this is by far the worst place I ever rented. For my military folks, I'll just say the BAH you can pocket is not worth it.
