We used Memar for the first time as our general contractor for a complete remodeling of our kitchen. They were referred on the Neighbor app. After several discussions/interviews with various companies, we settled with Memar for the work. We are very happy that we selected this company and started working with Matt. Cost and figures were reasonable and Matt and his team were flexible throughout the project. Most importantly they were creative with new ideas all along.
They were very a very attentive and highly professional team who were always clean and very knowledgeable for their areas of expertise.
We are happy with our new kitchen.

We received quotes from four companies before we were with Memar and we were very happy with that decision. There is no doubt that they were the best for the job. They weren’t the least expensive but their quality was perfect. There’s no doubt they are professionals and don’t cut corners. WHile we were redoing three bathrooms my mother in law redid one bathroom again after the contractor who did it before messed up the shower pan and caused a leak. It was past the warranty period and she went with a different company than Memar and ended up having issues. Made us even more confident we made a good decision to go with Memar.

We finally got around to redoing the three bathrooms in our house that were still stuck in the 70’s. Two of the bathrooms weren’t too bad, although they were still completely gutted and everything was replaced.

For the master, we completely changed the bathroom around and moved the shower to the other side of the room which was a major upgrade and undertaking. It entailed pulling new plumbing and really moving things around.

We weren’t able to find the vanities that we needed for various reasons so we had Memar get them custom made. It was not as expensive as we thought it would be and was in line with what you would find premade and great quality. It made it so much easier because we were going nuts trying to find a vanity the size we wanted and with the single hole for the faucet.

Of course the project went long but it was really due to the city and permitting issues. Mission Viejo had just changed to an online system from paper and had problems. That part was frustrating since it took two and half months to get the permit. Part of the problem was also the major remodel in the master bath.

One piece of advice for doing a remodel of any kind, don’t buy anything until you really know when you will be needing it. I immediately ordered everything and then when the permit took so long it meant that when I needed to return some items later it was past the return window. Also, make sure you find out from the city what they require for fans, lights, fixtures, etc. There were several requirements that we hadn’t planned for that were a pain and meant we had to adjust things.

We chose Memar to do a full bathroom remodel because we appreciated the way that they presented their prior work and that we never felt as if we were being sold to. Their bid was very competitive and their time estimate was far lower than all other companies that we spoke with. We were assisted with suggestions on products and materials and, once we made our choices, supplies were ordered and the work began. Everything was very efficient and the communication was great. Matt and his team made themselves available on weekends to ensure that the schedule was adhered to. The bathroom turned out beautifully and it was completed in exactly the time frame that we were told. Working with Memar was a great experience. I would definitely recommend and use again.

I'm very impressed by Memar and the staff. I worked with them to get a quote for a home remodel, and I've never had such easy and quick communication -- I wish all contractors were as top of their game as Memar. I ended up not using them, but it was a close call. Their quote was competitive and comparable to other quotes we received. They were very thorough when providing their estimate considering I didn't have all the plans dialed in yet. I even spoke to a previous client who raved about them - and you don't see that with contractors. I will definitely consider them for future projects as their customer service and communication are top notch.

We wanted to do complete remodel of our bathroom which would convert the bathtub to a walk-in shower. After getting quotes from multiple companies, we decided to go with Matt from MeMar.
Now that the job is done, we can honestly say what a great job they did. Matt and his crew were very easy to work with, cooperative and professional. We are very happy and satisfied with the result and highly recommend Matt to anyone wanting to get a job done and done right.

We had our old tub/shower replaced with a walk-in shower with a bottle chubby, so a partial remodel. We were inspired by the showers we had seen in Iceland hotels. Memar did an incredible job. Quick and quality work. It was helpful that they had a show room with tiles and examples on display. It was easier to choose from their show room than to pick tiles from HomeDepot or Lowes. During demolition they placed cloth down to reduce debris. During the tile process they were exact. During the plumbing they took care of any of the issues that came up. Excellent quality of work at very reasonable prices. Communication was ongoing. Super impressed that Matt came to inspect the quality of work during the remodeling process. Most contractors don’t do that. We knew when he came to check up on the work done throughout the remodeling process, Memar was a keeper. We’d hire Memar Inc again for other remodeling jobs in the future. Can’t praise Matt, Armin, Max, and the whole crew enough.
