I started my development project about 6 years ago and found myself lucky enough to be sitting down face to face with Rob at McNeil Engineering. McNeil Engineering provided affordability that was far out-shined by professionalism. Rob is not only an excellent engineer, he is a really wonderful person as well. Amidst conversations of building strategies, Rob and I swapped stories of business endeavors and motor-cross adventures. All along my dragged-out journey, Rob always made time to answer my phone calls and provide me with sound advice to challenges I had continued to run into. Long story short, I received my Certificate of Occupancy a little over a week ago, and would never had been able to do it if I had not had help from Rob at the McNeil Engineering firm. I stroll into an office everyday that I am proud to call my own, and find myself humbled by the memories of complete strangers that came to my aid to help my vision become a reality, strangers whom I now regard as friends.
To anyone reading this review, allow me to give you some free advice: if you are looking to start a construction / development project, do yourself a favor and start off on the right foot with the right guys.......McNeil Engineering.......

McNeil Engineering is a very experienced and professional Engineering and Surveying company. I do land acquisition and development for a National Home Builder and we have used McNeil for several residential developments and have been very pleased with their work and also their pricing. We have used them to fix mistakes that other engineers have made and they have been able to figure out what the other firm was doing wrong and correct the problem. Their staff is very responsive and easy to work with. Their ALTA surveys are very thorough and well done. McNeil is a company we trust to do a great job.

Kent Withers at McNeil Engineering is a very smart guy. I have worked with him extensively the last few years. Personally he saved my family thousands of dollars in a law suit essentially fixing up what some other engineer did wrong. He has corrected a lot of issues in our old town. We have not had one complaint about him. He has been so professional and accurate on his work. He has followed through to completion on every single job. You can’t go wrong going with McNeil Engineering especially Kent Withers. He knows his stuff.

The McNeil Engineering team is top notch! After 18 months working with two other engineering firms we finally landed where we should have started. We have worked on 7-8 projects with McNeil Engineering over the last 3 years. They assisted us with agreements with UDOT, surveying, subdivisions, plats, permitting and landscaping.
Their plans are accurate and concise which leads to less back and forth with the city, other consultants and contractors.
They are collaborative when working as a team and are willing to get creative.
