Enjoyed a blissful weekend retreat at the Polo Villas. Upon arrival, we were met with soothing jazz music resonating through the spotless home - there were even Fiji waters awaiting us in the fridge! The kitchen is large with state of the art appliances, great for cooking and entertaining. We enjoyed the large common spaces and great sound system throughout the home. The backyard was a wonderful place to relax, with plenty of lounge seating and a gorgeous pool. Each bedroom was its own little retreat, with large comfy beds, clean bath spaces, and a TV. The company does a wonderful job maintaining the homes, are easy to contact, and great to work with. We will definitely use them for our next desert outing.

We rented a vacation home through them in Palm Springs. The house was fabulous, with great instructions, and the McLean company was very responsive to a couple of phone requests we made about the pool and hot tub.

I cannot say enough great things about the rental agency and about the Polo Villas properties. Anthony form the office was efficient and followed up to get everything done quickly. Both times we rented we were greeted upon arrival at the property by Stephanie. Everything was immaculate and anything we needed was provided immediately. My deposit was returned promptly and we will continue to rent from McLean Company in the future.

Spectacular house with mid-century furnishings, breathtaking views, and gorgeous pool with spa. Very well equipped high-end kitchen, outdoor grill, and two gas fire pits. You’ll never want to leave.

The unprofessionalism at McLean (which rents units at 641 N Palm Canyon and 630 N Belardo Rd in Palm Springs) is UNMATCHED. I have lived in Los Angeles, NYC, Jersey City and Chicago, and had never before dealt with ongoing issues and concerns like living at one of these McLean properties.

To start, I had an issue of nearly A YEAR with a false alarm that kept turning on. Staff at McLean deemed it my responsibility to alert the bldg "manager," Clint, EACH TIME it rang, even during the MONTHS that the alarm started turning on every single day. They made no attempt to silence it on their own, despite my multiple messages that this alarm was ringing every day at 11am.

It was bad enough to have to text, email or call for help every day, but then Clint became angry at me because of the situation. He tried to gaslight me, saying I was "confused" about the alarm ringing throughout the year, even though I STILL have records of my initial complaint about this to McLean, dated February 2023. THEN, one day in December 2023, when Clint went to turn the alarm off yet again, he slammed my unit window and yelled "Silenced!" - completely hostile toward me as if I was causing the problem, as well as utterly unprofessional (and showing disdain for his own job).

Thereafter, I told McLean staff I did not feel safe contacting Clint 1:1 and would prefer the police was present for any necessary interactions. The staff couldn't care less. Though I managed to avoid contact with this truly psychotic man, other residents have begun regularly calling police when they need to speak to Clint, the bldg "manager." PLEASE CONSIDER IF THIS IS HOW YOU WANT TO LIVE.

Since Palm Springs is a retiree area, I spoke with more than one resident at these McLean properties who said they're considering filing elderly abuse claims against Clint and McLean.

To top it off, at 630 Belardo, several people told me they had cockroaches. At 641 N Palm Canyon, I saw rats outside on more than one occasion, but when I texted the company about it, I got no response.

Lastly, you can't even move out in peace when you finally do: McLean has been the first to deduct from my security deposit and the company/staff has failed to provide an itemized list 21 days post move out, despite that being part of California law. The incompetent staff there - and Mike, who has been totally inept at handling this issue - thinks it is enough to state "Cleaning: $300" as part of an ITEMIZED list. A neighbor of mine, whose studio I would've considered to be SPOTLESS, got $500 deducted from her security deposit, also for no verifiable reason. This company pulls numbers out of thin air for their own greed, instead of deducting the standard (if anything) $125.

As someone else in the reviews said about working with and renting from McLean: "The only thing they seem to be adept at is taking your money."

Beware. Scandals. This company will scam you out of your security deposit. We are allowed by California renters law to have the property management company to do a walk through to make sure any repairs that would need to be done we could do ourselves. The management company came in and said everything was great. But when we got our disposition they charged us 500 for maintenance that we could have done ourselves. We are now seeking legal counsel to deal with these issues that we were lied to about not needing to be done.

McLean Rentals are so professional! They made our vacation in Palm Springs so easy and comfortable. The home we chose was exactly as described-only better! Super clean, comfortable beds, lovely garden-absolutely perfect! When I called the office to extend our stay one night the staff made it work to accommodate us even though that meant the cleaning crew had to work on Sunday to prepare the house for the next tenant. Great company, we will definitely rent through them again!
