I live in another state and I cannot find everything what I want in local plant nurseries, so I was checking many online nurseries and decided to go with this one. I ordered two currants and they were delivered in perfect conditions! Very easy to order very easy to talk with people who work there, very attentive and reply very fast if you write an e-mail. So this year I ordered from them again and so nice so lovely plant I got !!!! Definitely will order from them again and will recommend to do so to other people who doubt if they can order online and get great plants, now you know you can:)

This nursery is great! I live out of state and bought 3 lilac bushes. They arrived a lot bigger than expected and in great shape! The nursery in my town have lilacs but are a lot smaller. Highly recommend!

I have ordered live plants from several online nurseries and my gooseberries are in excellent condition upon arrival. Ordering was easy and they have a good variety of fruiting bushes and trees. A bonus was the shipping box they came in,I am convinced that if the delivery van had been rolled over my bushes would have been just fine,great job and I will use them again.

I have always thought of McKay Nursery as a quality and reputable nursery which is why we have used them several times. However after this last experience, I will not be purchasing from them. We ordered a B&B tree that was delivered with a huge wound (they claim from pruning) on the bark as well as a few others. If I had seen the tree before I would not have bought it as this opens up opportunities for diseases. When I reached out to McKay to tell them this and see if they would extend the warranty, I got no response until a week later after I re-reached out. They wanted to send someone to look at the tree, which they did a week later. After that no one at McKay got back to us until I reached out again (this is now two weeks later from the visit). They claim the tree is dry and we need to water it weekly. We have been watering it daily or every other day because of the draught since we got the tree. They still didn't address the primary concern and never did but in an email did agree to extend the warranty. However there is no written warranty that I will be getting. When I asked to speak to a manager, I got the same person. The timeliness, professionalism and poor quality in an expensive tree does not live up to the McKay name and reputation.

We ordered a few trees for the front and backyard with installation. The overall process for ordering and scheduling was not great. Communication with the representative from McKay was very slow and very poor. We often had to email and call multiple times to get a response. Overall it was very difficult to get the information we needed. When the trees were finally installed, they weren’t able to finish the job (one tree was on back order), yet they wanted the invoice paid in full. They agreed to accept payment minus the work that was to be completed. The following month I received an invoice for the balance with a penalty for late payment, even though they agreed the final payment could be paid when they completed the work. We do not recommend using McKay.

We purchased 26 Emerald Green Arborvitae working with our landscapers. Of the 26, 18 died within the first few months. There is no warranty coverage, would highly recommend working with nursery's with a warranty included in the future.

I have ordered many trees, hedges, plants and other perennials from McKay since we purchased our home last year and completely replaced the landscaping. Since the first delivery we have bought from them exclusively, and we will continue to do so because of the high quality of their products, their competitive pricing, and the quality and attentiveness of their staff (and Tom in particular). I highly recommend McKay for all of your planting needs.
