8/30/24 update: I’ve been here for about a month and it’s been interesting to say the least. Fast forward to 8/28/24 my partner was visiting and had his windows smashed in over night in the guest parking lot along with 3-4 other cars. Speaking to other people who live here apparently it’s a common thing and both the local cops and office are aware. Spoke to the office and while I get they don’t have control over everything, I do think there is stuff they can do to help. Add more cameras, put cameras in the guest lot or cameras facing the guest parking lot, actually close the gates to both lots at a certain time. One of the reason I wanted to rent here was the gated community but looking at the reviews the gates have never worked. It’s extremely frustrating and nerve wracking to wonder if your car is going to be the next one to get damaged. I don’t blame the ladies in the office but I do think there are steps that corporate can take to help with the safety of their residents. Just my thought.

My experience has been so easy and wonderful. Kim at the office answered all my questions ( I had a lot) and was extremely professional and nice. Thank you Kim for everything!!

The entire move in process was amazing. Melissa is incredibly professional, kind and welcoming. She made my experience pleasant. The maintenance team worked expeditiously at handling the two concerns I’d addressed (the same day), that’s unheard of! I lived here in 2016 and it was nice, this time around it’s better and I’m thoroughly impressed.

I moved into Mayton for my senior year of college at VSU. Coming from New York, I knew my 1bd 1 bath would be a steal because of the square footage and especially the price. The moving in process was extremely smooth and I had little to no issues regarding my apartment living. Definitely one of the best choices for my first loft. Kimberly Clay is an exceptional landlord. Melissa Moaning is an excellent leasing agent.

Kimberly and Leetha go above and beyond to try and assist, make me feel welcome and they are very accommodating. My brother was looking for an apartment and has multiple medical problems. The helped him immensely with the application and through a couple of bumps in the road which delayed things for him. I highly recommend.

The apartments are charming and really cool. I love the historic building.

The office staff is so friendly. Kim makes you feel like you've been friends forever. I toured the studio and absolutely loved the industrial look and all the space. You can feel the history of the area. I am so excited about moving to the this beautiful community 🙂

So I’ve been living here for over a year now there has been a complete change from the day. I moved in until now one of the biggest changes is actually having people in the office and work orders. Actually being completed prior to the management change work orders would state that they would be completed but never actually done. I have a camera in my house so I know when people come in and out. I also can say I absolutely love the office staff very friendly, very helpful and actually really care about the property and its success. The only issue I do have is some of the upkeep in the apartment, which is not a management issue which is more of an owner issue of remodeling or upgrades.
