From the first phone call, Mark has been professional, responsive, and thorough — and his team has done amazing work. The pricing and contract were also very fair and completely transparent. Marx Construction has done both a full 700sqft mother in law addition onto our home but also a kitchen remodel for us. When we first started the process of the addition, Mark Valdez was the only one who was willing to give me information on if we were anywhere in range ($) of adding an addition to our home. We had never done any kind of project so big and everyone else just told us on the phone that they’d come out in a few weeks and then they’d let us know about money. They weren’t even willing to give an overall estimate.. but from the first phone call Mark was more than willing to answer questions I had. They did a great job on the addition.. Mark orchestrated everything for us the entire time (back in 2019). In 2023 we ended up getting a kitchen remodel from Marx again and this time we worked mainly with Tabitha & Weston. Our kitchen was outdated to say the least and looks so much better now.

My wife and I would like to thank Mark of Marx Construction for the many hours of planning with very helpful 3D designs and line item cost analysis. We have 5 projects planned. The first only has to do with our Master Bathroom.

Our house is brand new. It lacked adequate ADA bathing and showering facilities. Because of my disabilities I needed a shower that I could use a wheelchair in and a shower that I could sit on a bench to shower with special Delta equipment. Weston the project manager was able to accomplish these goals completely. The Marx team is very respectful and efficient. We recently had our home remodeled by Marx construction. They did such a great job paying attention to detail and giving us exactly what we wanted. The kitchen is my new favorite part of our home.

In our master bathroom they did a full remodel and it turned out beautifully- better than I could imagine. My bathtub and natural stone shower look so luxurious.

I have to thank Mark Valdez of Marx Construction for saving me $100,000. I called for a remodel project that would have hopefully paid off. After his sage advice and he had crunched the numbers with me, both on the construction and finance sides, he talked me out of an admittedly risky idea and long on hope. I needed someone with such a varied background to see what I wanted to accomplish but also see the pitfalls of a potentially bad investment. I had tangentially know Mark before and he could have easily gotten my business but I appreciate the advice not to do it even more. I don't think many contractors would have done same.
