Shannon Wester, Chris Martin, and the entire team at Martin Outdoor Properties Group are truly exceptional. We were relocating from Las Vegas and found a home in the Medford area that we wanted to see. Ashley Lacer from Martin Outdoor Properties was the listing agent. We contacted her to see the home and as she was representing the sellers, she invited Shannon Wester to join us on our behalf. Although that house did not suit our needs, we fell in love with southern Oregon and the hunt was on!
During our search, Shannon was always available to us. In fact, the entire Martin Outdoor Properties team was; when our search took us to Bend, Chris Martin put us in touch with his agent there, Sam Terrell. Ultimately, our focus landed us southern Oregon. As we were coming from out-of-town to look, Shannon set aside entire days to help us see as many homes in a limited time as possible (which included putting many miles on her car!). When we started to focus on Grants Pass, in addition to seeing homes, Shannon went out of her way to give us a flavor of the town and community as well.
Once we found the right place, the negotiation and closing process proved quite difficult. Shannon and Chris spent hours over the course of weeks working on offers, counters, and resolving some issues that arose in the inspection process. If I texted them a question or for an update, they were quick to respond. They helped us figure out the best way to position our offer and what price to go in at to give us the absolute best chance to get the home. Shannon and Chris turned into a fierce strategist and, through much effort (not to mention hand holding as it became a bit emotional for me) they got us the home!
Once we had our dream home, we were interested in some substantial renovations. The Martin Outdoor Properties team was there for us again, putting us in touch with a local contractor who was just wonderful and did an amazing job at turning the home into one that is perfectly suited for us.
We felt like we were working with friends rather than a real estate agents. When you choose to work with Martin Outdoor Properties (which I HIGHLY recommend you do) they will make contact with you quickly and meet anywhere that’s convenient for you in an effort to make the search as easy as possible. They will discuss what you want, deal breakers, price ranges, neighborhoods, etc. They will candidly share their opinions and feedback on what you have seen and said, ask follow-up questions and suggest things you might not have considered. Shannon in particular was so concerned that the outcome be a win-win for all involved and this truly turned out to be our experience! We could not be happier!

After carefully pouring over internet reviews of Country Real Estate companies I came across Martin Outdoor property Group. This is not my first house for sale so i am an experienced seller in some regards. Alex Larsen came out to preview and his partner. I found Alex to be straight forward, a plethora of knowledge concerning market status, realm of sale, perspective on how best to list property, and very honest and frank about what it is I am trying to accomplish and price point i expected. They decided to list my house and did all and more they said they would, excellent communication, ALWAYS CALLS BACK. I have a question i feel welcome to call him and ask, ( even if i think it might be a dumb question), he gives me a well thought out and sensible answer which i process 100%. Alex and Martin Outdoor Property group is by far the best Real Estate proffessionals I have ever come across. The flyers he made up were of highest quality and the videos and pictures were taken, critiqued and changed or posted. They got all the bases covered and that is not a falsity.
