After searching for a hotel, which took hours, I found Magnolia Creek. I loved everything from the front staff to my beautiful cabin..The cabin was spotless, comfortable and quiet..check in and out was seamless.
I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast items in the mini fridge as I sat on the back porch, enjoying nature! I will definitely come back!

This is my second visit to Magnolia Creek! This time, staying in the Lodge. Again, I enjoyed my visit. The rooms in the lodge surpassed my expectations..beautiful and clean, as always!
The main sitting area in the lodge is decorated wonderfully and makes you feel right at home! Guess what, they now serve beer. It is delicious and very reasonably priced! I also had the chance to meet another couple staying here while chatting over a beer!
I will be back in December, reservation is already made! Again, it was made by another family member, and I let them know that I needed to come back here!!
Btw.. for the owner, thank you for the comfort and the great homey feel! This is the only place that I've found that keeps everything so clean, fresh and smelling wonderful!
Aka Copeland is the name I check in under!

Magnolia Creek Lodge is an absolute gem! We stayed in one of the cabins and were truly impressed. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt so warm and inviting. The property is peaceful and well-maintained, you can really tell that great care goes into every detail. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

It’s a little off the “normal” trails but it’s slightly secluded and not very busy. Very well kept and the rooms are very clean. Pricing is just right. Not over priced. We stayed in a room but they have cabins available that look very cozy!! Definitely recommend coming here and check out the casino/ restaurant right at the beginning.

For the 55 and older group, after a long days travel the only place to stay. It’s so quiet, rooms are dark, no outside noise, large bathing area, and only 6 or 7 rooms. We have stayed there the last 3 years, since we found it. Nice camping area, they also have small cabins to stay in.

Nice quiet place. Had a great night sleep great shower and coffee. Would highly recommend. Room #3 had a bath with shower and separate shower and double sink. Had a slight downfall of design as the tp holder was on the wall right beside the toilet of which was very tight. I bumped it a few times and you could see where it had been knocked off previously. We had wonderful queen beds with comfortable linens and pillows. Room had a mini fridge and Keurig. They stocked coffee and such and even put water with muffins in the fridge. The overall aesthetics was beautiful for the room and lodge was beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is there is a ramp but a major step at entrance to lodge with no auto door so any handicapped person may have issues getting in and out the front door. Again I highly recommend the lodge for a great stay.

The space was clean and gave studio apartment vibes — very cute and roomy. Furniture felt high-end and sturdy, so it’s clear some thought went into comfort and style.

The listing mentioned YouTube TV was included, but it never worked. We called and were told it should be available, but no one followed up, and we couldn’t get it to work.

The shower was spacious, which we appreciated, but the shower head lacked power.

One great bonus? They provided complimentary muffins, orange juice, yogurt, and water — which we loved in theory. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy any of it because the muffin was moldy, which made us question how long the snacks had been sitting in the fridge.

The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. But heads up: curtains are definitely needed. The sun pours in early, and blackout shades would’ve made a big difference in sleep quality.

Also — spiders. We know it’s near the woods, so bugs are to be expected, but we saw about six. Most were dead, but two were alive — one on the wall and another crawling on my pillow as I was getting ready for bed. Definitely had me on edge.

The highlight? The receptionist, Kealy, was such a sweetheart. When we shared our concerns, she was warm, kind, and genuinely apologetic. Her energy helped ease our frustration, and she’s honestly a big reason we’d consider staying again.

Overall, there were some bumps, but the customer service we received from Kealy went a long way.

We stayed at Magnolia Creek Lodge with three other couples for our friend’s 50th birthday. First off the staff were all so friendly, fun, helpful and accommodating. They made sure we all were happy with our rooms and had everything we needed. The Lodge is in a quiet location, beautiful inside and out. The decor and warmth was very unlike any hotel, pictures do not do it justice. We stayed in the King Jr. Suite and it surpassed our expectations in comfort, size; and everything we could need to make our stay perfect. The bathroom was large with a tub and a separate shower, double sinks, clean, and with all the necessities. The bed was very comfortable and the room super clean. We will definitely stay there again anytime we are in the area.

I've stayed twice after falling in love with the elegant furnishings and complimentary snacks. It was an easy choice to return when we had to drive to town for a funeral.

PROS
Free parking and zero street noise. King room has a sofa, Double Queen is large enough for a dance floor. Clean, comfortable & tastefully appointed rooms with natural light, drapes, plush bedding and mini-fridge/freezer stocked with free juice, water, muffins and yogurt. Huge walk-in shower, separate tub, good water pressure and nice toiletries. Lighted closet, cable tv & a cozy fireplace in the lobby.

CONS
One hanger and 2 washcloths, no HBO, SD TV and slow Wi-Fi. Thin walls. It sounded like the guests above us were having a track meet! No phone or nightlight in the restroom. Biggest con was being jarred awake at 2am by an ear splitting fire alarm with flashing lights. No-one's at the front desk after 10pm. Upon check-in, you're given a phone number in microscopic print at the bottom of the receipt to call for after hours help. I was trying to calm my elderly parent while also stumbling around, looking for my reading glasses, receipt, room key and cell phone after realizing there's no phone in the room. The after hours number was DISCONNECTED. The other guests were also confused. We were outside in the cold rain for 20 minutes, no-one came and there was no way to reach the Lodge. Eventually, I called 911 so they could cut off the alarm. Needless to say we got no rest. The desk attendant apologized the next morning and said a manager would call. It never happened.
