Absolutely perfect job landscaping the front of the house! This is the second large job they did for me, the first being the planting of around of 30 trees a year ago. All work has been excellent and will continue to work with Matt and his team.

Matt transformed our yard front and back 2 years ago. We have beautiful walls, walkways and a new pool patio with pavers. We have lighting front and back as well. Several companies would not bid on my job because the job was small. Lawn Artists came out, talked to me and my wife to gathered all the details. They did the job perfectly! On May 10, 2023, I got to meet with what appeared to be a great company (Lawn Artists) that I discovered and reached out to after reading so many good Yelp reviews. I was interested in receiving a quote about adding hardscape to my property in Calvert County. Mr. Matt reported to my home within days displaying outstanding customer service and using an awesome drone to survey the property.

However, after weeks of not hearing back from anyone, I reached out to the office and spoke with a Ms. Megan who apologized and quickly scheduled an online meeting between me and a Mr. Kevin. Mr. Kevin presented a very lovely design, however; unfortunately it was not what my wife and I were looking for. I used this meeting as an opportunity to help him gain better insight into what would work for us on this property. Mr. Kevin indicated that he would create a new design and get back with me shortly.

Well, a month later today (7/13/2023), I spoke with Ms. Megan again and asked this time if I could speak with Mr. Matt. She asked what was this all about and I shared that I would prefer to speak directly with Mr. Matt. I then received a call on the same day from a man who indicated that he was Mr. Matt, however; his voice sounded more like the designer, Mr. Kevin. He quickly asked what I needed and because it sounded nothing like Mr. Matt, I decided to ask if he remembered meeting with me at my home. He replied yes, but kept jumping to the question of what I needed. I then asked if he wouldn't mind repeating what he shared with me about the process of completing a project at my home if I contracted with his business. The person on the phone immediately became highly disrespectful with profanity and hung up when I mentioned that I would be writing a Yelp review because of such disrespect. Shortly after he hung up, the phone rang again and the person (I really don't believe it was the professional guy, Mr. Matt) stated "I knew you were calling to complain about something...you are a "F***king A**hole...and hung up again. He actually shared that Mr. Matt was on our initial design call even though it was never revealed to me then.

I hope no one else ever experiences this type of disrespect from a company like this. Whatever happened to the delivery of good customer service? Because I am a Christ Follower, I definitely didn't return the disrespect, but certainly wanted him to know that I would enlighten others about his unprofessional communication. The God I serve will address whoever the verbally abusive person was in this company. It's ashamed since I really thought doing business with this company would have yielded great results.

Matt and Lawn Artists did a wonderful job in my yard, cleaning out flowers beds, trimming trees. Matt developed a plan and discussed it with me and kept me informed as to the progress of the work. The guys who came to do the work were courteous, pleasant, knowledgeable, checked to be sure I was pleased with the work. The idea Matt had for an area for my bench using paving stones is my favorite spot. Thanks for an excellent job!
