We learned a valuable lesson. When looking for a home, use a local realtor. We started off with a realtor a colleague recommended. After one phone call to explain what we were looking for in a home, we never heard from him again.

So we researched local agents in Payson, and were fortunate to come across Kristin. Since we lived outside the area, we had a few calls with her. She took the time to understand our wants and needs in a home. She set us up to receive email notifications of homes on the market that fit our requirements.

She was available to meet with us when we came to town, and to show us several homes. No pressure was ever applied to “pick a house.” Kristin made sure we knew she’d be around for to help on our buying journey, no matter how long it took.

When we found a home, she worked with the home inspector, the home builder, and the seller’s agent to get all our questions answered.

Since Kristin is local to Payson, she has the knowledge to answer questions, or knows where to find them.
