My thriving plastic surgery practice in Newport Beach, California was limited by space and required expansion in order to accommodate all the new staff and providers who were working for me. I leased additional space above my office to double the size of my practice in order to incorporate a luxury medical spa and a state-of-the-art surgical facility. The problem we faced was how to connect these two floors with great design and functionality. I interviewed architectural firms from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and a few from Newport Beach. None of them were able to translate my artistic vision into a unique design. My first introduction to the Kohan Group was through word of mouth. My friend’s dental office in San Francisco went through a full renovation with Kohan Group. After witnessing how this firm elevated his entire facility and boosted his patients’ experience, I decided to hire the architects at Kohan Group to design and build my office. I knew they would able to incorporate a world class medical spa and high-tech surgical facility into my successful plastic surgery practice. Being a surgeon, sculptor, and overall art enthusiast, I wanted my brand/practice to embody what I value as a person. Mohsen and the Kohan Group understood my needs and when we sat down to go over the blueprint, I was amazed with the incredible attention to detail of his designs. It was like something out of a futuristic storybook; imagine motion-detecting automatic doors and a magnificently artistic spiral staircase that breathtakingly marries the aesthetic med-spa and plastic surgery floors together. Mohsen, the senior architect is meticulous in his work; he delivers a functional workspace with a modern design. The additional advantage of working with the Kohan Group was that they managed my project so I could continue to focus on my practice. They helped me to find the best contractor and kept my project within the budget and on time. His work illustrates everything I had envisioned. The impact of Kohan Group’s design has had a significant effect on our patient experience and revenue. He truly surpassed my expectations and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to other colleagues looking for excellent vision and impeccable execution.
