We called Ms. Lisa Jones about a year ago about selling our house. We didn’t know her and no one personally had recommended her to us. We saw how she posted on the Nextdoor app and were impressed. When we met, we just knew she was the realtor for us. She guided us every step of the way and when we finally listed our house through the Coming Soon program, it sold in 2 days! This is the best real estate brokerage in Central Kentucky by far! Every other brokerage I visited was an empty office with no energy at all. If you ever see Keller Williams Commonwealth Homes 859’s Terra Long, Walter S. Smith, & Shane Underwood, run away because all they want is the commission. Long misled me, a first time home buyer, into buying an overpriced house in Shelbyville, and allowed the sellers of the home to threaten me with a lawsuit, acting against my interest. I feel that she colluded with the sellers and their agent to ensure the transaction went through against my will. I am now stuck with a house I no longer want despite having time to back out, and I am losing over $30,000 of my late husband’s money because she failed to protect me from a bad deal, knowing fully well what was going to happen to me. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the Kentucky Real Estate Commission, as per
KREC Statute 324.160 Sanctions–Grounds for Sanctions (v) Gross Negligence so that Long and her associates are held accountable for what they allowed to happen to me.

Realtor: Ben Murphy
At first, I thought Ben was a good realtor. He showed up within an hour of calling for a realtor. He showed us a few houses we wanted to see. We found a house we wanted and made an offer. Ben wanted to close on the house fast so he set the closing date in one month. We were not in a rush, but we were ok with that date. 2 weeks into escrow we found out we were not going to be able to get the loan. Ben then decided to try and rush us to release the contract and pay all of our 1800 dollars of escrow to the seller. We talked to lawyers that told us there is no reason for us to pay anything because there is a contingency in the contract. Ben kept fighting us on this. We had to involve the broker which she said we didn't have to pay. As soon as that happen, he started having us apply for multiple loans to get the house. They did not go through and he told us that the seller was getting lawyers involved. We settled for half our escrow back due to just wanting to get out of this situation. He fought hard for the seller, who was not his client.
