Karma has been a nightmare. It has taken over a year for them to finish my simple project--deck installation & powder room installation. 3 project managers have quit, leaving our backyard a mess. Their craftmaship is poor at best. Run away from this company as fast as you can. Jordan never returns phone calls. Mariya never shows up when she's scheduled. Dennis attempts to solve problems but never follows through. I could only imagine that the positive reviews of this company are fraud. If I could give a zero, I would.

Started a major construction job of adding a bathroom and an outer room with many specific built INS has required in the original contract. The contract was broken over and over again and failure to have anyone manage the job. There was very rarely anybody on-site to what watch, very poor workers who did very low quality work. They put an entire hvac system into my new addition, and no heat came in. It's freezing cold and now I have to hire another company to correct all the mistakes they made.They put a heated floor in my bathroom, which I paid extra for and it never function, and now I'm having to have the entire floor pulled up. The correct wiring put in etc. The entire job took months and months longer than it was supposed to, and they finally never were able to finish it. The company he didn't seem to have enough money to complete any of its tasks, or they just didn't care. Never in my opinion, use karma. As a construction company, awful awful experience

I have worked with Karma on a number of projects. I could not be more impressed. This is a company that truly lives up to their name. They treat their clients to first rate service and results, good Karma all around. I have seen their award winning designs for various bathrooms and kitchens around the DC area, and they are fantastic! Karma Home Designs is truly and all around general contractor and remodeling service. They have the specialists and tradesman for any type of job, whether it be an out door living space and a new deck, that addition and finished basement you have always wanted, or a whole home build or remodel. Karma has everyman for the job. The best part about working with Karma is that they are actually located right in DC! Kris, one of the owners has been doing construction in DC for over 20 years, the management at Karma has over 50 years combined. They are true professionals who pride themselves on treating their customer fairly and giving them the results they deserve. it has been a pleasure working with them on several projects and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great design, quality products, and unbeatable price and value.

Karma Construction Group repaired my very old and dilapidated carport and brought it back to it's original glory. I was so pleased with their quality of work, craftsmanship and overall professionalism. Jordan put together a great team of skilled, respectful and kind workers with Elias at the helm leading the crew, masterfully. Everyone involved with the project went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this company.

Overall construction was OK.

Management was a nightmare and the project was about a month delayed. They never tell you when people are going to be in your house. Our overall privacy was gone for three months. They just walk in whenever they want, it was extremely frustrating.

When working with Jordan and Craig, get everything in writing. They were very misleading and there were lots of mistakes.

Craig didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Which is fine, but he had an ego and constantly talked down to me.

When asked to remedy the mistakes, they give you snarky manipulative responses, as if you’re stupid. They were so rude.

Peggy in accounting constantly over charged us. Double charged for materials we already paid for, and added materials that weren’t even used on the job. When asked to remedy the mistakes, they denied any fault and basically said pay up. The sub contractors buy whatever they want, and they just send you the bill. Extremely frustrating.

Buyer beware, I would not recommend at all.
