I lived in one of her units for approx. one year and a half. Every time something needed to get fixed they would take three to four weeks to answer and to send someone to fix it. The main office phone number was never answered if I needed anything I had to email the assistant and she would get back to me within 72 hours. Once I moved out they wanted to charge me $75 and take all my deposit because they would repaint the entire unit and had a cleaning bill of approx $180 even though when we left we made sure to deep clean everything and take picture of it all. In my experience I would not rent with this company again!

My partner and I have been renting from Karen Lacks and Co. for 3 years now and it has been a pleasant experience. The application process was smooth, Diane helped move things along quickly. Karen has been communicative and helpful over the years whenever issues have arisen. Highly recommend!

This place is the worst! We applied for an apartment they were renting and when we applied they said we were the only ones to apply. On there application it said the turn around rate for approval is 48 hours, well a week goes by and I call. All they have to say is "we got 10 applications for that location" and of course I was mad because we applied first so we should be ran first. Well they drag us out and over 3 WHOLE WEEKS to tell us we might not get approved, or so said by the receptionist. We never got a call saying if we were denied or not or even as to why we did. We had the income way over requested and great rental history, I suggest not EVER choosing to go with them for any rental properties. Worst decision we have made in our first search for our own place together.

We rented here for over 8 years, great experience. Diane in the office is wonderful, and Karen is the best. They are helpful, and pleasant. Would rent from them again!
