This company (Juan and his team) did an amazing job on redesigning my trim around my garage. I was told by many other laborers that the stucco would be impossible to match well. I worried for nothing.

Had Juan clean my gutters today also had him do some minor stucco repair from around a shutter that came loose and reattached the shutter. Cleaned and adjusted my gutters last year. Does very good work.

Juan and his crew did a outstanding stucco job on my house. They replaced dryrot, installed new sheetrock inside the garage, fixed a damaged decorative molding and so much more. Their attention to detail was impeccable. I would absolutely recommend JTC Lathing and Plastering.

oK, it has been quite some time since I have been compelled to write a review for outstanding contractor responsiveness and superb workmanship in a finished product.

It seems like everyone is out to make up for lost time and money due to the pandemic and you don't have a clue on determining who is trustworthy and who is not.

HOWEVER, the time has presented itself and I must write this review for JTC Lathing and Plastering. Many of you may have experienced damage to your stucco during the atmospheric river onslaught earlier this year. I did and it was difficult, bordering on "darn near impossible" to get a contractor to come out to give a quote to repair the damage.

While my roof did not leak there were enough cracks in the stucco that allowed water to seep into the frame which subsequently leaked into the kitchen to the point that I had to get several buckets to capture the water.

I must have called fifteen to twenty contractors to come and give estimates and only five came and four of them presented such outlandish bids that I could immediately feel that I was possibly going to be taken advantage of.

The other fifteen made appointments but never showed up (which ended up wasting my time and prolonged the time to repair the damage) and when I called them inquiring about setting up another appointment, I would end up leaving a message without any return call backs.

Subsequently, mold developed over the course of seeking a contractor and we were without a kitchen for FOUR months, sigh.

When Juan (JTC) came out he inspected the walls and the roof in an effort to pinpoint the leaking issues. He gave me his estimate. After discussing it with my wife, and firming up potential start dates, what his scope of work would be, the materials he would be using, how long it would take, the warrantying of his work, and confirming the fact that he was licensed, we hired him.

Juan (JTC) did everything that he said he would do, from taking the time to answer my questions and concerns EVEN as he was performing the repair work. He even did some additional (out-of-scope) work without charging me for it.

To say that we are pleased beyond imagination would be a gross understatement. I am so confident in his work and his "MASTERCRAFTMAN" skills that I am going to have the whole house re-stuccoed (is that a word?) and painted by him and his team.

As I stated above, it is very hard to find honest, skilled and competent contractors in this present time BUT I have found one and without hesitation, recommend him to you should you find yourself needing this type of repair.
