This was actually the first time my mortgage brokerage has had the pleasure of working with Jon Romney as a Realtor. I must admit, I feel a bit apprehensive when collaborating with someone new, but I was pleasantly surprised by Jon's excellent negotiating skills and his genuine care for his homebuyers. It's worth mentioning that Jon's clients found me through a Google search and reached out with inquiries about loans and rates. We ended up having a delightful 20-minute conversation, during which I offered them a quote. To my delight, they decided to work with me. However, I must commend Jon for not just leaving it at that. Being an exceptional agent, he recognized his responsibility to thoroughly vet me and my company. I truly admire this trait in him because, unfortunately, there are loan officers who mislead their clients, and Jon knows better. Once I received the contract, I noticed it was for a new build, and Jon had negotiated it so skillfully that his clients were able to choose their own lender instead of being forced to use the builder's "preferred lender." They were even able to keep all their seller concessions, which is an incredibly rare occurrence when working with builders. This truly showcases Jon's talent for negotiation and his unwavering dedication to his clients' best interests. The story doesn't end there, though. When the appraisal came in a couple thousand dollars short, Jon once again leaned on his extraordinary negotiation skills to convince the lender to lower the purchase price to match the appraised value. Not only did this save his clients some money, but it also simplified the lending process for our finance team. I must also highlight Jon's exceptional communication skills, which were consistently on point throughout our collaboration. All in all, I can confidently say that I am eagerly anticipating working with Jon again in the future.

Jon was very easy to work with. He was highly motivated to get us into a house that met our expectations and was always available if we had any questions or concerns. He was attentive to what we were wanting in a house and never pushed us to make a decision we weren't ready to make. Jon was so helpful and supportive and we felt really comfortable working with him. He was very responsive but NEVER pushy, which was a big plus for us. We really appreciated how quickly he responded to our questions and took the time to explain. When we had houses we were interested in, he quickly responded to our requests and made arrangements to show the houses. He took the time to come visit the houses with us to help us figure out what we wanted in our dream house. We were fortunate to find the house we wanted in about 2-3 weeks of searching and visiting 5-6 different houses with him.
