Ok where to start. First things first from day one even before getting pre-approval John was incredibly helpful in guiding my boyfriend and me in the right direction and extremely thorough in what to expect during purchasing of a first house. He has a wealth of knowledge in his profession. We had some bumps on the sellers end of the first house we were in the process of buying. Not only did John help us through such an incredibly difficult and unusual situation, he was incredibly optimistic when I was not feeling as optimistic myself. We went right back to the start and he was determined to get us the house we were needing and wanting. The house we ended up purchasing met all of our marks. A good neighborhood, a good backyard for our dogs, and an incredibly fast process. This guy is enthusiastic, determined, knowledgeable, and optimistic. John was absolutely fantastic to work with! I highly recommend him. He went above and beyond for us throughout the entire home finding and purchasing process. I only had three days in Anchorage to look for a house before I had to head back to Houston so several of the homes we looked at were last minute finds. John was so helpful. We both looked every night and compared notes to see which houses ticked the boxes and then John scheduled the viewings for the next day (some were done in the same day so that I could see them before I had to fly out...we were looking at houses right up until I had to leave for the airport). John really listened to what I was looking for in a house which I really appreciated. He didn’t waste my time showing me homes that didn’t have the must haves on my list. Since we were out of state, John was nice enough to handle all of the inspections, repairs, etc. for us so that the house was move-in ready by the time we arrived in Anchorage. He even sorted out the painter for us and made sure the work was not only complete but done right and that it was all finished before we were scheduled to arrive (I also highly recommend the painter John recommended. He did a great job!). I’ve never had such a painless experience buying a house before. I credit John with making it such a pleasant experience. I can’t say enough good things about him.
