Joel Nelson and his team are Outstanding. We interviewed multiple agents to list our home on Capitol Hill, but Joel had the most comprehensive, well researched and reasoned plan. Joel and his team recently sold a house for us on Capitol Hill. I was extremely impressed from start to finish. His years of experience in this market was evident from the start. I just closed on my dream home and it is because of the competence, care and hard work of my realtor, Chris W. I had been working with another realtor for 6 months with no luck. Working with Chris changed everything. I didn't get the first house I put a contract on, but he had strategy and reached out to the seller for feedback. He communicated with me, so that I never had to wonder or guess what was going on. Once I put a contract on a house, Chris managed everything. I highly recommend Chris and the Joel Nelson group to be your real estate agent/group. When and if I decide to sell, I'd use them for that transaction also.

Joel Nelson is an extraordinary realtor! I am one of several siblings who inherited a home from our brother. We all live far away from the DC area. Joel helped us with all we needed to do before listing the property. He literally took the entire burden off our shoulders- recommending and arranging for trades people to do the needed work, staging the home and handling all other aspects of the sale. In all my many real estate transactions, I have never known a realtor to go above and beyond like Joel. We really could never have managed without him! Plus, he really knows the DC market. My partner and I, as trustees and executors, relied on Joel and his team to sell a single family home on Capitol Hill. Joel showed up for our first meeting with useful pricing data, and provided his proposal for staging and minor renovations, including cost estimates, a few days later.

The team handled the last portion of cleaning out the property and all of the staging to prepare it for a sale. We listed on October 3, ratified an attractive offer five days later, and closed smoothly on October 28.

The team stayed in touch with us throughout and handled a last minute glitch - minor damage to the property by a third party a week before closing - smoothly.

We recommend them highly.
