I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the maintenance man Victor who works and lives here at Jefferson Place. He is incredibly kind, always willing to help, and goes above and beyond. I've witnessed Victor going out of his way to ensure all residents and those visiting feel welcome and are taken care of. Having him live on-site is such a huge bonus. His promptness and availability make all the difference and truly adds to the sense of community here. We're lucky to have someone so reliable and caring taking care of things!

This review is specifically dedicated to maintenance which I think is one of the best parts of living here.

Victor from the maintenance crew is always helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond. One night we had an emergency and he came in the middle of the night to help us, super friendly and knowledgeable and always giving us a great experience.

Jefferson Place is great, and a big reason why is Dan from the maintenance team. He’s a pro who really knows his stuff—when something’s broken, he doesn’t just patch it up, he walks me through what he’s doing in a way that’s easy to follow. He’s super patient too, never making me feel dumb for asking questions. Dan’s chill, friendly vibe instantly calms my nerves, and it’s clear he cares about doing a good job. With him around, I actually feel looked after here.

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Victor and Dan. They have both impressed me with their friendly attitudes and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the residents they serve are always taken care of. It’s rare to find such dedicated professionals who not only get the job done but do so with a smile and a positive attitude. They make living here stress-free and are both hugely appreciated.

Be very careful when moving out of an apartment here! We recently moved out of an apartment after being tenants for about 18 months. We made sure to make sure everything was extremely clean and turned in our keys on our move out date. All of a sudden almost 3 weeks after we moved out, we were provided with a bill to replace the carpet, re-glaze the bathtub and re-surface the stove top. As soon as we received notice, we called the office to ask if we could see the apartment to see the alleged damage and we were told that they already had another tenant in there and we couldn’t see the apartment. After not receiving this notice until almost 3 weeks after move out, we were also informed that it would be sent to collection after 14 days and we could not pay online (despite being able to pay our rent electronically). I attempted to contact Melissa that the damage did not seem to reflect how we left the apartment, when we were all of a sudden provided a pre-move out inspection from 3 months prior that we were never provided a copy of until that moment. I attempted to continue to communicate that those pictures don’t seem to accurately reflect the state of the apartment when we moved out and inquire why we were never provided a copy of the pre move out inspection report, and we have yet to receive a response. We went ahead and sent a check anyway to be safe after the threat of collections. After not getting any notification whether they received the check, we followed up and were told even though they hadn’t been able to check the mail due to the holidays and weekends that our account automatically gets sent to collection after 14 days. Just seems like a complete money grab and takes advantage of tenants using a fear of collections for them to do routine maintenance, despite us paying an increased rent to continue month to month at the end of our lease. Make sure you try to attend the inspection and take pictures and videos of the apartment as much as possible, because they cannot be trusted.

FYI – the reason they said the carpet needed to replace was from indents from a bed frame in the room, I don’t know if they expect you to live an apartment without furniture but we recently moved a desk and bed frame that was on carpet for ten years in a townhouse and the indents shortly went away and can’t possible see how that is damage a tenant is responsible for or caused. They also stated they needed to reglaze the bathtub which was in no different condition than when we moved in and is routine maintenance for an apartment complex.

I would rate it higher if I could, I talked to a young Lady on the phone, Rebecca I think? And she was amazing was able to answer all questions I had, was charming and wonderful to talk to and seemed fairly Knowledgeable about the buildings and amenities certainly hope the folks living round there got that kinda attitude and their night guy is a hoot! if you get ahold of Cal I think his name was (hearing aids are a b*tch sometimes XD) he's a dear real nice feller.

Jefferson Place Apartments is attempting to extort over $1100 from me. I rented a one bedroom from 10/20/23 to 10/9/24. I received an email two weeks after I moved out saying I owed $600 for a refrigerator door, $300 for carpet, and $200 to reglaze the tub. I was given two weeks to pay the money or else my account would be turned over to collection. I’m a 60yo man with no kids or pets and somehow I caused $1100 in damages in one year. The carpet was worn out when I moved in and there was nothing wrong with the refrigerator door. Beware renting from these people because the same will happen to you. Landlords cannot come after tenants for normal wear, and yet here they are.
