These guys rewired old knob and Tube electrical all throughout our 1900 home as well as hanging new fixtures, moving a few outlets and adding switches. They also replaced our entire breaker panel that was getting water in it. We had John, Brendan, Anthony, Vince, and George. All were timely, professional and communicative. Anthony talked us through financing options and what the job would entail. They were done in a shorter period than the days allotted. They tailored the work to what we wanted and could afford. Highly recommend!

JDV rewired my whole house this past summer. I have never been more impressed with any company I've worked with. John and John were very professional and friendly, and I enjoyed having them around! Their work was inspected every couple of days, and now I feel safe and secure knowing my home is up to code. I couldn't recommend JDV more. I would leave ten stars if I could 🙂

I received an advertisement in the mail when I first moved into my home in 2022. I just this week had to call an electrician and I remembered JDV Electric. I spoke to Joe the owner on the phone who was very nice and wanted to accommodate my work schedule to help me out which I appreciated. Piro was the electrician who came to my house who was also very friendly and spoke to me honestly about what needed to be done and what the options were. It was to my surprise that his face on that brochure that I received two years ago. I trust their service!

John, Vince and George, the technicians assigned to my job, were great. It was a three day project rewiring half my house. They arrived on time, were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They cleaned up at the end of every day and left no debris. John explained everything they were doing as the project progressed and answered all my questions. Would strongly recommend JDV Electric and this team for any electrical project.

Update: John G. From JVD Electric came to do the actual work several weeks after Anthony had done the assessment. He did an outstanding job. He made certain everything was to my satisfaction before he considered the job complete. I had no doubt it would be, and it was.

Anthony and Vincent did an exceptional job in replacing some potentially serious situations that occurred in my old 200 amp service. It was a long 12 hour day put in by these professionals and they continued till the job was completed. The price was very reasonable. Joe and his teams are folks you can trust.

Was on a tight timeline to get 4 large chandeliers assembled and installed (2 were 20” ceilings). Final result was fine, however, the cost was ridiculously high. As the work was being done the installer continued identifying things that caused my final cost to double from the initial price quote (which was already high). I went to JDV because they could do the job quickly, so I was willing to pay a slight premium for availability, but by the end I was extremely frustrated that they continued adding on large numbers to the bill. I felt taken advantage of, as they were half way through the job and I couldn’t turn back. After talking with neighbors I paid about 3x more equating to thousands of dollars. To give you an idea, I asked them to install dimmers, and they quoted me over $200 per dimmer. I decided to do them myself and the dimmers cost under $30 each and about 15 minutes to install. I would not recommend JDV.

Response to JDV: My home is 3 years old. Just wanted some chandeliers and dimmers installed. Was given an inflated initial estimate of $40K (seems to be a normal practice if you look at other reviews). For the record, your guy said he would supply and install 2 dimmers and I can supply 2 that her would install. I bought a 3rd and he used mine (so didn’t give me the 2nd). Not sure 50 hours was necessary, but the final price was around $6,500 (about the same as my fixtures). I’ll let consumers decide if that is a reasonable cost. don’t think it is. Your outfit isn’t the only one with certified trained professionals (if that’s your rationale). I find your responses well crafted, but deceptive. Consumers- you can do better.
