We had the extreme pleasure of working with Tammy Randall Wood from Interior Archaeology, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Tammy took our very outdated home and turned it into a space that exceeded our wildest expectations. Despite a full remodel she took care to keep the character and uniqueness of the house. Tammy and her team were invaluable to the design process. They came in during the design phase of our completely new-build home. Even though the foot print was set, Tammy reworked the interior design in such a way that gave us an incredibly beautiful bespoke home. My husband and I hired Tammy Randall Wood, ASID and her firm, Interior Archaeology to do a complete cosmetic remodel, and to furnish and accessorize our home. We completed construction in December 2016, we could not be more pleased with the results. From the beginning, Tammy had a wonderful ability to understand our vision and bring it to life. We wanted to bring in lots of natural light and a feel of causal elegance to our home, which was previously rather dark and formal. Tammy had great ideas for bringing light into various spaces, including well placed skylights and converting drab windows into french doors that flooded those dark corners with lots of natural light, and also helped unify outdoor and indoor spaces. Tammy has amazing resources for sourcing beautiful and high quality natural materials, that helped capture the design we were looking for, and also provided the unique, custom feel we wanted. Her suggestions to improve existing spaces were wonderful. She designed efficient and elegant closets and cabinets, beautiful, functional bathrooms, and included interesting design elements in every space.

We are now in the process of furnishing and accessorizing the space, and again Tammy not only has a terrific eye and great resources, she is putting them to work in helping us choose exactly the right pieces to make our home elegant, comfortable and unique.

Finally, in terms of general business operation, Tammy and her staff were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt and responsive in all communications. E-mails and phone calls were returned promptly, and billing and other transactions were clear and accurate.

Tammy and her staff were a wonderful asset in interfacing with our general contractor, and insuring that the design and construction process went smoothly and efficiently.
