Performed work on my house without my consent. I called to ask exactly what work they did at my property as they put up a boulder retaining wall and they said they couldn’t give me the info because their client was the builder. I have already closed on my home, I own it, it is not preconstruction. Our issue is also with the builder for contracting this work without telling us but when I brought it to IGES attention that they did work and accepted payment from someone who is not the owner of the property they were extremely rude and condescending. They said they would look into it and call me back but didn’t so I called them and with such an attitude said they wouldn’t tell me even though it’s my home, so I said so you don’t care that this was unauthorized and you could be sued by me and they stood firm they did not care and very snarky said yeah if that’s what you want to do have a nice a day and hung up. While they may have initially not known that it was not in the pre close stage of construction and not owned by the builder as they probably work with the builder a lot, if they had any integrity I would expect they would be surprised to find out they did work on a home without the owner’s consent, express that they wish they could tell me but can’t and express concern with the builder and care on even the smallest level and want to have a conversation with the builder how this could happen. But instead they had such an attitude and completely uncaring about the situation like I was an annoying fly on the wall and they were above me. The owners and receptionist are absolutely disgusting.

IGES customer service is very very bad, After they completed retaining wall engineering that would not correspondingly work well with the site conditions of my subdivision I tried and tried to get them to at least answer the notes from the County or help further, but they behaved arrogantly, and in my view unprofessionally. They originally engineered 30 feet of geogrid for the main retaining wall which would have caused extensive excavation to the hillside. I had to have that reengineered by CTS and they were able to do a geotechnical analysis and redesign with zero geogrid, which will save tens of thousands of dollars for retaining as well as extensive environmental damage to the hillside. There are better and nicer geotech firms to work with.

I'm sure the engineering is fine but I went hiking with these guys once and I'll never forget the 30+ mile hike they took me on through canyon lands. It was one of those outings where it was way too cold at night and way too hot during the day. Not much water either so I felt a little like a camel. The Indian paintings were very cool though. Would do it again in a heart beat... epic hike.
