5 stars alone for the incredible staff! We loved our stay here and met so many kind and sweet people. Leo and Miko were especially amazing and took time out of their day to help us coordinate transportation to the airport AND translate with our taxi driver. After that experience, my partner and I both mentioned how we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel itself is great, modern, and conveniently located in the heart of Ginza. The rooms are spacious (by American standards) and very clean. Having a gym inside of the building was a big plus too.

Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable stay in Ginza, this is the place to be.

This was our favorite hotel in Japan during our recent trip, and a standout among all the Hyatts we've stayed at globally. It was a hip, modern experience that was luxurious without being fussy or pretentious, which is exactly what we wanted.

Service: We were consistently greeted warmly by staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we had no communication issues during our stay. The only time things were a bit slow was during food service at the bar, where they may have been understaffed.

Food: The breakfast buffet had many options without being over the top and everything was flavorful and delicious.

Room: The king room we had was stylish, spacious, and had some memorable design features (like a vanity that turns into a sink, ha). The bed was excellent and the bathroom had a large bathtub plus shower. The room was well-equipped and if we needed anything, housekeeping had it.

Laundry: Unfortunately, there is no laundry on-site or nearby that we could find, so this limited the number of nights we booked at the Centric. This is the only real negative.

Location: The upscale Ginza area is arguably not as fun as other parts of the city, and food options are quite limited outside of malls. But it's a great place to shop, and with access to the Ginza line just a couple blocks away, we got to almost everywhere we wanted to in 30 min or less. The other hotels we stayed at weren't nearly as well-connected. There's also a very convenient 7/11 at the Ginza station that we'd stop at frequently for food and snacks.

Extras: The design of the hotel is artful and blends Japanese and western aesthetics. It felt spacious, inviting, and rejuvenating which was a relief after traveling around bustling Tokyo. And we especially loved the playful elements they brought into the lobby with the colorful snacks and candy, free drinks from a cooler, and video game corner.

This Hyatt has raised the bar for us, and we hope to stay at the Centric Ginza again on our next trip to Tokyo!

Awesome... just completely awesome and luxurious, right in the heart of Ginza. We had a sweet suite with gorgeous views of Tokyo's skyline. Breakfast was the *real* treat, though, especially the diversity of cuisines that were available to us. Free snacks and drinks as well as complimentary happy hour drinks were a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed people watching in the bar/restaurant before going out most evenings. Everything was just amazing... especially the staff. Highly recommend a stay here!

The most amazing customer service experience. As expected from an Asian service best resorts. They anticipated our needs even before asking and had luggage service, airport cabs planned for us. Post check out, we need to change in the evening before our flight, and the staff hear us talking about refreshing and they had toothbrush and face wash ready for us.

n a country where hotels tend to be impeccable, seamless and by the book, this is an unusually stylish, imaginative and different hotel, an intimate jewel tucked between all the flagship shops of the famous brands along the Ginza. The rooms are spacious and unusually designed, the bathrooms are stunning and you really feel as if you’re staying in one of the best places in the city—boutique cool mixed with all the professionalism you’d expect of a Hyatt. In 37 years of living in Japan, I’ve seldom found a hotel as fresh and memorable as this one.

Such a comfortable hotel and excellent experience. When you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly concierge. Check in was easy. The room was huge compared to Tokyo standards, spacious, and clean. It was amazing to stay in! The location was central to everywhere in Ginza. We had such a good night's sleep here.

4.7 stars.

Pros: Superb location. Beautiful decor and designs. Solid staff from the reception to the restaurant. Lovely room with well thought out features.

Cons: Was disappointed when upon checking in to see that the video games were no longer there (which was a big factor for booking this as my teenage sons are gamers). Snacks are appreciated but selection could improve.

Overall, we all enjoyed the location greatly. The room was comfortable though very pricey b/c of location, location, location. If you have the budget or a mountain of points to spend, the Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo is a solid choice. If you’re stretching the budget and points, I would recommend elsewhere then.

Thank you HCGT team for a pleasant stay. You have a beautiful hotel and very professional team.
