Vanessa was kind, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She handled every issue with promptness and care. One thoughtful example: when the hotel ran out of "Do Not Disturb" door hangers, she went out of her way to print and create one for us herself.||My roommate arrived a few hours before I did and unfortunately encountered another staff member, “E,” who was rude and unhelpful. Thankfully, Vanessa completely turned the experience around with her excellent service.||Additionally, the woman who cleaned the rooms was always cheerful and greeted us with a warm smile. The Saturday morning kitchen staff was also wonderful—kind, efficient, and attentive to cleanliness.

Great location, unfortunately that was the only redeeming quality. Our hotel room was disgusting. It smelled like a dirty locker room, the counters were visibly dirty, the shower had hair in it, and light switches were broken. We went to the front desk and requested it be clean and were given a different room after a 4 hour wait. Unfortunately many of the same issues were present in the second room and we had to go out and buy disinfect and clean the room ourselves.
On top of that upon checking in I discovered that the changes to my stay that I had made online had not stayed. I was told that because it was made under a hotel block they had to go through a specific email. No where was this mentioned online, nor does it make sense that I was able to adjust my reservation online if this is the case. I was given an email of who to contact to request the reservation change and never heard back. If that wasn't enough the pool was closed and I was not informed of this at any point. I discovered it when I went down to the pool and it was empty with a sign closed for maintenance. I understand things happen but at least let us know when checking in.

During my recent stay at your hotel, I found the location to be convenient and the accommodations satisfactory. However, I am compelled to express a concern regarding an incident involving hotel security. A few days ago, around 9 PM, my daughter encountered a security guard in the hallway who made her feel uncomfortable by behaving inappropriately, including making suggestive gestures. This experience left her feeling scared and unwilling to leave the room for the remainder of the evening.

The individual in question appeared to be an older, taller gentleman. I believe it is imperative for the hotel to address this matter promptly to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests. Implementing additional security measures, such as installing cameras in the hallways, may help prevent similar incidents in the future. I trust that you will take this feedback seriously and look forward to seeing improvements in your security protocols. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

All I can say is, don't book this hotel through a third party!
Many issues with our stay. I booked this hotel because my niece and her 4 kids were visiting and I thought the pool and the location would be great.
Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance which I only learned after paying $63 to park. The front desk person told me that it's on their website that the pool wasn't working. (of course it's not on Expedia.)
Everyone was disappointed but we decided to stay and make the best of it.
After a long day of sightseeing, I was looking forward to a nice hot shower....but the hot water wasn't working.
I head to the front desk and they tell me there is some kind of water main problem.
Anyway, I'm fed up so I tell them I want to leave and receive a refund. They tell me I have to contact Expedia. It's almost like they want to take zero responsibility for their hotel!
Expedia is no help of course and we end of staying.
The breakfast was sub-par and a woman came by our table and asked if we were guest of the hotel
The staff was rude, unhelpful and obnoxious.
Save your money, go elsewhere.

***I even called the Hilton properties and they were just as rude and unhelpful as the staff of this hotel.

I chose to stay here, in town for a conference at the Convention Center. I am glad I chose this hotel as the location couldn’t have been better: right across from the convention center and the Reading Terminal Market. It was perfect for a solo business stay: full-size fridge for drinks, snacks & leftover portions of meals, a microwave for reheating, full breakfast every morning, ironing board & iron (with steam), closet and hangers, good wi-fi and quiet room for sleeping. The room did smell a bit musty every time I came in, but running the AC for a minute helped and I didn’t notice it any longer. ||Staff was friendly and helpful, too. ||Definitely recommend!

Large suite hotel right next to the market hall. My room was spacious. However, the furnishings were a bit outdated. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was quite small. Breakfast at the hotel is only available until 9am. This can be a disadvantage for vacationers. The wifi worked without any problems. The team was friendly.

I recently stayed at the Home2 hotel for a conference. Vanessa was an amazing host! Always so helpful! We had difficulty finding a package for our conference, she did everything she could to help us! I would come back to home2 just for her support and kindness!

Jevette and Tymare were VERY friendly and helpful!! They were very professional and yet treated all of us like family! |I had asked at check-in for a fan and got told that they would check and have it delivered to my room. I got into my room a little later and nothing had been put in there. I asked the front desk if they knew anything about it and they didn't because they hadn't come on until 11 PM, so that let me know that the people working before 11 PM did not pass along the information.|This is why I am so thankful for both Jevette and Tymare! They went above and beyond!
