Their salesman, Joel Barnett is the sole reason why I'll do everything possible to prevent the city in which I'm affiliated from having any future business dealings with HHI. I met Joel with a detailed a set of blueprints explaining the deadline we were up against & requested a fabrication quote for several different types of material for our build -- it was only the frame of a 110' fishing dock designed for those with physical & developmental disabilities. I was told by the estimator that I'd have quotes in just over a week but heard nothing but crickets. When I e-mailed Joel 2 1/2 weeks later requesting quotes on two additional types of steel he loosely "apologized" for a late response saying the estimators were "backlogged" & they'd have to pass, I feel it was just an excuse. Joel had this info nearly 2 weeks before so while the blueprints sat on his desk, he was sitting on his hands. He strung me along while I was expecting the quotes & despite knowing our deadline, there was ZERO communication on his end until I contacted him. In other words, HHI didn't want our business & from the experience I had with such a lackadaisical salesman, I'm more than happy to accommodate them -- lesson learned!!

My husband toured here while applying for an internship, and we had a great experience! They let me work on the couch (and offered me a conference room) to do homework. The grant-writer came out and showed me around and chatted with me, and I wasn’t even applying! The desk lady was also super nice!! I wish I remembered their names! My husband liked all the people there, too. Great experience!

I can’t speak for their services, but if you’re going to drive aggressively and make illegal traffic maneuvers, I’d recommend you don’t do it while using a company vehicle. A company car almost hit two different vehicles in the space of a few seconds. First was while making an illegal turn from an imaginary third turning lane and cut someone off, and then they immediately changed lanes and cut someone else off, almost causing another collision. To top it off, the driver was talking on the phone which is also illegal.
