Terrible customer service. I paid to have work done by this company and it took months to have them complete what should have been done in weeks. They do not return calls and frequently do not answer their phone. So, fast forward several months and I need the same work done at the same property. So I hire them again since they are familiar with the project. My husband communicates with them his concern about timeliness on this job. He is assured that they would be at the property to begin the job "within a week". A month later, nothing. Not even a phone call. So my husband calls them and is assured by the woman who answers the phone that she will have him call us back ASAP. No return call. We have cancelled with them. Do not attempt to hire them unless you have months to spare on your job.

My Father and I have been builders in Ventura county for over 30 years and Fred Heathcote has been are go to geotechnical engineer in all that time. You won’t find a more competent, honest, and cost effective soils engineer for your project. He comes from a multi-generational building family which gives him insight into the whole building process beyond the soils work. Highly recommend.

My slab in my detached garage was acting strange. We opened up a section and found a void under the slab. Fred came out right away and inspected it. Turns out the slab was originally poured where a huge tree once lived. Over time the roots decomposed leaving a good. Fred knew exactly what he was looking at provided a simple path forward for us. He was great!
