Highly recommend Hawkins Graves. I’ve bought a machine from them, rented machines and attachments, and taken machines in for service. The sales team is awesome, great rental fleet, very knowledgeable mechanics with a quick turnaround time. The prices are great and the staff is very helpful.

Didn’t explain when I rented that you need insurance on the bobcat and window got broken and it cost over 900.00 dollars to replace it by them. Don’t rent over computer things don’t work out sometimes. Their labor is 149.00 an hour to fix anything so make sure nothing gets broke.Also I didn’t receive all my paper work over the computer when they sent it. I went to the owner and told him that had happen with broken window then he told me that machine cost 60000 and if somebody had stolen it I would have been responsible so don’t leave a key in any equipment that you rent from Hawkins and Graves. I will go else where when renting small or large equipment that are concerned with the person renting that they know all info on renting. One thing they don’t do as other rental places they don’t offer no insurance on the equipment I think it’s because they want to charge you very high price to fix it if it gets broke. I rented some equipment the other day from Sunbelt and one of first things they did was put insurance on the piece I rented. That sounds like a company concerned about their customers.Another thing they never told me to read the agreement

Easy rental and great service - answered all my questions and had good suggestions. Pro tip: Rent on Friday afternoon and pay a single day rate if you return it Monday before your rental time.

The guys there are always friendly and helpful. Their prices are reasonable. However having operated heavy equipment for most of my life I feel they have the pressure turned down so low on the hydraulics of the excavator I rented rent, that it was barely usable. This cost me extra time which resulted in extra fuel charge.

Also, I paid for 8hours of use, the excavator was dropped off with 501.3hours showing on the meter, however the drop off ticket showed the excavator only had 500 hours.

This meant I either needed to use the equipment in 6.7 hours or use it for the full 8 hours and have to put up a fight to explain the situation and hope they did not charge me. I opted to do what was necessary to get done in 6.7hours to avoid the situation all together.

I've only needed a few things from this company but everything from a simple man lift to a concrete saw blade is available. Their showroom is full of just about everything someone in the construction trade could possibly want. The management group here has been a pleasure to work with and very accommodating towards getting me anything I need in a more than timely manner.

Rented equipment for years and no issues - rented two different pieces of equipment and then they come back and say both have damage! I’m an experienced operator and own a lot of equipment so how does these pieces of equipment keep getting damaged In our case the dozer was completely fine when parked ) they couldn’t pick it up for several days after we called and let them know it needed to be picked up ) so it ends up with damage between when we parked it and they picked it up somehow….We will go elsewhere for future needs .
