In response to the owner. My retaining wall was constructed appropriately. To save myself ADDITIONAL money, since I already lost money with Harry Rex Group, I consulted a different structural engineer who advised me how to update the drawings as requested by the county and I completed the minor updates to the drawings MYSELF and resubmitted and the wall was reviewed and the permit was approved by the county And the city without anything from Harry. If you could not complete the drawings for ANY REASON you should have refunded my $750. The fact that you came on here and admitted that you did not complete the drawings and also that you did not give me My refund is confirmation of my initial review. Your company insisted that I CashApp Full Payment and provided ZERO drawings. Harry Rex, LLC owed me a CashApp refund of the Entire amount I paid. All Harry cared about was collecting the full payment up front amount, but did not care about completing the business transaction of providing the drawing... a simple retaining wall drawing you did not provide. Nor did Harry say " I will not be able to provide the drawing hence I will return your payment". In fact, he was rude with me and then finally stopped responding to me altogether and I had to actually call a lawyer and no one from Harry Rex Group responded to any of the emails seeking a resolution. The retaining wall is Perfectly constructed. Harry simply didn't complete the transaction according to the contract he signed to provide the drawings. He didn't do the drawings and he didn't return the money paid. Terrible business ethics.

My name is Djuana Kimberly Dean. I have 2 emails. To clarify I am the same person with a first, middle, and last name like everyone else. However, after a year had passed, I was unable to edit my initial review and created a resonse with this review.
The first drawings were completed by a different structural engineer. However, for the simple revisions requested, I asked Harry to complete, which he signed a contract to complete, but did not.
Harry even had me to take down part of the wall which was already completed "at an an additional cost to me" WHICH I DID HAVE MY CONTRACTOR TO DO so that Harry could see what he said he wanted to confirm in the structure and yet he STILL did not provide the drawings.
And HE STILL DID NOT RETURN MY MONEY.
The bottom line is If you don't want to do the drawings FOR WHATEVER REASON, then you should return the customer's money. You should not keep payment, not complete the work, and then ignore the customer for an entire year.
I did not go forward with small claims court because I didn't want to spend any more time or money on this since the wall is done.
The ONLY reason that I responded is because after a whole year. You decided to respond to my post thereby initiating a new response from me.
