We had Chris George out to our property to take a look at a landslide and propose what to do for next steps in July of 2023. He required a $1000 site visit fee. He still has not provided anything to us for our issue. I have contacted him often, he knows we still want to see what he’d recommend and continues to drag us along. If we ever receive our proposal, I’ll update this review…

We have been working with Haro Kasunich & Associates for over two years on four sites that were declared FEMA disaster sites in the 2016 - 2017 winter storms. They have been excellent to work with, helpful, professional and have always responded as FEMA and CA OES (Office of Emergency Services) has stalled and dragged their feet. A good example is that in CA construction projects are required to address earthquake concerns. CA OES would not accept a geological study that contained the required earthquake information since the damage was not caused by an earthquake but by storm water runoff. Haro Kasunich & Associates rewrote their highly accurate and technically proper report to appease CA OES and still meet the requirements. They could have pointed out that CA OES were not in compliance but that would have stalled the project even further. They have always responded in the best interests of the client.
