You can't never get a whole to the workers there. They don't answer the phone, nobody! I was supposed to get my Utility Check on the 7th, but I never got it to pay my Electric Bill! They need to get rid of every work there!

Section 8 was supposed to do an inspection for the house. A tenet was approved. But it has been ten days sense approval no inspectoon. I was told the inspector failed to reach out to my property manage.

The Section 8 company seems ill equipped for new landlords. And no one answers their phone. It really deters landlords to rent to section 8 tenets if section 8 doesn’t treat landlords like a business transaction. In order to make a deal go through you have to work together. I don’t see section 8 doing what they say they will do by getting an inspector out so a deal can be made on behalf of their client. Now in a couple days sense they are about to miss their deadline for inspection I have to relist the house. My recommendation to new Landlords stay away from section 8 because they fail to do inspections in time or promptly. It’s not the tenets fault when approved it’s huds, for failing to offer program

They never answer the phones and when you leave important messages for the workers they never return your calls. I have been leaving messages on different voicemails there for the last month and not one person returned my calls. They also keep the doors lock at all times there is no way to speak to anyone in person. You can only drop off paperwork through there drop box and most of the time the documents are misplaced or lost. I know because I submitted all my paperwork, paystubs, copies of birth certificates and bank statements in the drop box just to receive a letter in the mail from them saying they haven't received the documents. Which means they lost or misplaced my important information. They should go back to seeing people in person because their service is horrible and doesn't even deserve a one star.

the worst !!!!! first you wait on the list for years to get selected then after they select you they make you wait 60-90 days to determine your eligibility once they give you the ok they give a voucher you find a place and they still make you wait 15 days to do a inspection for the place you choose they are rude and have nasty attitudes they don’t care if you are about to be homeless with nowhere to go they still say ohhhh we can’t expedite anything and if the landlord don’t want to wait for the inspection process you will have to find somewhere else to move after you have been waiting all this time it’s like ridiculous and they don’t have any care in the world and I thought they are suppose to help people they make it so hard for people

I would give this organization Zero stars!! What is it about Hampton? I have yet to find quality customer service, especially within Government Offices.
I constantly come across individuals that seem to dislike their jobs. Mrs. Pankey and E. Simmons need a different job all together. No one seems to do their job! They do WHAT they want, WHEN they see fit to do it!! A complete overhaul of workers and the program itself needs to take place.
People in these positions are rude, unprofessional and do not help in any way to assist people that need them most. They seem to do their job when they feel like it. Complaints just worsen the situation.
The Worst experience!!
There is a serious housing shortage in Hampton!
Overpriced shacks built in the 1800’s in ghettos.
