I spoke to landscaper to ask about the chemicalls/weed killer he used on my lawn and surrounding areas where my neighbors and I walk our pets. He confirmed it was Roundup and at first said it is not safe for pets/people and with further questioning, then backtracked to say it was. Unlike other professional landscaping companies, they have not put up signs warning to avoid treated areas for a few hours. It's my understandingbthat Property Management also has a responsibility to let its residents know of any hazards/precautions. The last time I asked before today, they could not tell me what was being used but thought it would be safe. The property management still doesn't know what is being used and has not advised the residents of any precautions. After researching / remembering past claims about Roundup, I spoke again with the landscapers, my leasing office and now Hamner. The Hamner employee who answered the phone was VERY uncooperative and defensive and claimed to be a manager. She would not confirm or deny the product being used, denied that the lawn was even being treated and would not let me speak to anyone else in the office above her. After avoiding my questions and asking me irrelevant questions, she continued to tell me I could only ask my property manager what is being used and ended our call.

I have complained repeatedly to my leasing office about the practices of this landscaping company for other reasons and have seen inconsistent, wavering improvement but this issue is a different case altogether. I can see that the disrespect, disregard and unprofessionalism trickles down from the top.
