Building looks rough but they are helpful and fast. Good quality products. I believe their main business is to provide a finished product at a customer's home or business. They are still happy to work with DIYers like myself

I have worked with HAL over the last 4 years on a project that I am continuing to push back on where charges have increased that are outside of the contracted amount we agreed to. I have to continue to reference the contract that Delmas put together so I can hold them accountable to the agreed upon price. When things came to a head in August of 2022, we put a moratorium on the project until we could align and review the costs and steps to complete the project. In December of 2022, Delmas provided us with a total cost that would bring the project to completion and fulfill the state's requirements to close on an SRF loan. We resumed the project in 2023 with the updated contract amounts and now we are facing the same issues again.The contracted amount has increased significantly and it becomes an issue on every monthly invoice. I'll work out the updates with Noelle (she's been very helpful) and then the next month it increases again. Not only do I have to manage the budget to ensure they stay within the contracted amount, I've had to come up with solutions to problems through my own research. Solutions to problems because HAL/Delmas was not aware of current technology that could handle monitoring remote chlorination systems. This rant is overdue and the level of frustration continues as I just received my current invoice today.
