Grizzard homes just turned over our new house and we were amazed with the whole process. Michael was awesome to work with at the beginning and really cared about getting us into a home we would love. Ricky was our project manager and he was awesome as well. The entire process was fairly smooth and we are very grateful for our new home. With having a limited budget they also worked with us and allowed us to do some work ourselves which allowed us to build what we wanted and stay in budget. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build!

I (We) were pleased with the work and personel. I did not specify a budget, however I was given a budget range of $142,000 to $193,000 to plan for which was well within the range I was anticipating. Total cost ended up being $259,086.26! Work was done cost plus giving them control over man hours, labor rates, materials, rework, etc., so I was expecting them to be good stewards of my money as promised in the estimate. It was understood we would be living in the house during the remodel. The majority of the project was completed in 4 months.

I deleted a few items from the estimate and added some new ones that just about evened out.

I did specify some higher end materials over what was in the estimate, when given the choice, but I also purchased over $10,000 worth of materials myself which were on the estimate which also evened out.

I noticed that there was going to be a cost overrun by the 3rd invoice but I had no idea how much. I was never advised there was going to be a cost overrun. We were too far into the project to change too many things. I did delete the front door replacement and asked Michael to credit some of their O/H and profit. Michael gave me a $15,000 credit off the $259,086.26. Our retirement savings took a BIG hit as a result of these cost overruns.

Hello everyone. I'm Ken with "The Design Guy" specializing in residential design. I have worked with Michael on several projects. He really takes care of his clients! One job we worked on needed to have a hole cut into the ceiling during the design phase, so I could determine what size an existing beam was in place. He took so much care to protect the home from the drywall dust. As we finished, he put in a pre-made access cover, not just leaving an open hole until construction began. That action told me a lot about his work ethic.

A neighbor of mine has had him do work for them and could not compliment him enough.

As a design professional, I absolutely would recommend and hire Michael.
