ive been staying in gateway village for a while now and im looking more than ever to move . the employees will lose your paperwork find it and then still charge you for “retro rent” somehow . suddenly now we have to $15 for a trash fee every single recertification on your lease they are doing any and everything to get money out of people. if you have a baby and need a bigger apartment they will not move you they will have you living on top of each other and just charge you more for the extra person . there are so many empty projects they know nobody wants to live in them

Don’t move here if you want to pay $800 rent . Only ppl that benefit living here is people with special needs kids, Section 8 or Lazy folks . If you work save and leave or you will be paying almost 1K meanwhile your neighbor paying $40 and able bodied to work but choose not to but continue to pop out babies ?

I lived in public housing for 10 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would have stayed longer but income increased and therefore so did rent.

Sarah Roden of Emma Samson Homes has invaded our privacy by constantly inspecting our home without giving prior notice and their maintenance department is a joke. They are always pounding on the door to inspect something or another and don't always give prior notice and threaten to cancel your lease if you don't let them in, even though you weren't given notice as the least states and law requires.

The lady at the desk gives a “I hate my job” vibe and isn’t very helpful.
She’s damn near impossible to understand or get help from over the phone. Very frustrating
