I recently ordered a survey from Great Plains Survey and they did an excellent job. It was delivered exactly on schedule and the quality of the work appears to be very high. Several times during the process I followed up to make sure we were still on schedule and each time they promptly answered to confirm that we were. I am very glad I chose to go with Great Plains Survey!

We recently had several parcels surveyed by Great Plains and had a very frustrating experience. We originally reached out to them in March and were told they could complete the survey in early April. Whether they were short staffed or gave us an unreasonably optimistic estimated timeframe, I’m not sure, but they didn’t complete the job until the last week of July and we didn’t receive our finalized plat until September. They were slow to communicate and I often called and emailed multiple times before getting a response. They routinely told us they’d be finished by the end of the week, only for that to drag on for several months. They did end up completing the work and they cost much less than the other surveyors had quoted, so that part was very good. Bottom line: they were affordable and the survey results seem fine, but they were much slower than anticipated and the communication was poor.
